Perhaps these are Martian buildings. The structures of a non-human species would necessarily be radically different than ours. The Martian climate, as well as the different brain structure Martian inhabitants would result in something very different. We cannot expect to see skyscrapers and boxy homes or macadam roads on other planets. I think Mr. Moen, you have revealed something very exciting and intriguing. Thank you for your hard work and expertise.

I got my Google version 6 and played with that and it is absolutely amazing to browse through Mars' surface. These dunes must be the habitats of the Martians who survived the meteor explosion that happened and wiped out Mars about 20,000 - 30,000 years ago (could be right before the ice age of the Earth.) and who evolved into the current forms. I think NASA will acknowledge that there is living life in Mars about 10 - 20 years later as it always had.

There are some really anomalous formations everywhere on Mars. Check out the HIRES images of Mars and you'll see crystal formations, sand dunes that look crisp and perfectly edged. Just do it and stop your UFO stuff.

If you GOOGLE "ringsonmars", "moundsonmars", or "treesonmars", you'll find some webpages with a lot of interesting analysis. Until someone comes up with something better, a form of life seems to be the best explaination for these ring and spot features.

No big deal if they were small rocks. But by measuring the length of shadows and the angle of the sun it can be determined that some of the "rocks" must be over 60 feet tall. How do you explain 60' rocks lining up along the curve of the dunes?

The angle at which sunlight strikes an object, varies by location of both Sun and object also the time of day and season, is an important factor on shadowing and calculating the size...

The sun inclination data came from NASA. You can go to msss(dot)com, moc gallery, narrow angle image, northern zone map, then select any random image and get the ancillary data for that image.

Or you can GOOGLE "moundsonmars" and go to the website with "homepage(dot)mac" in the string will and I show the details there.

You can GOOGLE "ringsonmars" and "treesonmars" and you'll also hit websites I posted.

Well done. Very illuminating. ESA has been producing better quality imagery of the type NASA has been reluctant to release. But even NASA screws up and releases some fascinating stuff. Imagery of wet soil, fields of what looks like black geysers, the 'glass worms', false-color reddish landscapes that photoshop will autocorrect to beautiful blue-colored-sky landscapes, the 'bunny' pictures (and subsequent deliberate obliteration of rodent thereof), etc.
