This and a few others were packed in with a VHS-Board game pack my family had when I was a kid. I lost the pieces to the board game quickly, but I kept that VHS until I was about 18 or 19. Regret letting it go. It had a lot of old classics on it. But thanks to Youtube, and uploaders like this guy, I can relieve my youth.
Brilliant! Not only is this a much better quality version that others I've found on Youtube, but the the gun scene at £;36 has been left intact. Hurrah! Thanks for the upload!
I remember this cartoon was included with one of the old VHS editions of (animated) legend of sleepy hallow and I watched it all the time when I was a kid. I always liked that part where goofy starts fighting with the dresser, and nearly strangles himself to death with his own hands.... and then stabs his own ass with a needle. I would laugh so hard my mom would turn off the movie because she though I was having a stroke.
I also had this toy. I used to watch this cartoon over and over. Im 33 now and this cartoon came on the other day as me and my 8 yr old were watching tv. It instanly took me back to one of my favorite toys. I also had the one with the Rescuers? I think thats the one. But its good to know that other people had this fantastic toy.
@vriosm It wasn't a viewmaster... it was white and looked like a movie camera... films came in big yellow cartridges and you had to hold the device up to the light to see the film... there was no sound... but you could watch it as fast as you like, backwards or frame by frame...
I wish I knew the name of this, I'd be happy to buy one for nostalgia purpose.
A lot of the sound FX and maniacal laughter were included on a Disney Haunted Mansion LP in the mid-70's. Great memories! I had the Crank-Master Cartridge-Monster, too! :)
i REMEMBER i HAD A TOY TOGETHER WITH A WIEW MASTER BUT THIS TOY WAS WITH A MOVIE CASSETE YOU LOOK THROUGH SOME LENSES AND START ROLLING A LEVER AND YOU COULD SEE THE MOVIE, THAT WAS THE MOVIE THAT CAME WITH IT. i DONT REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE TOY DOES ANYONE REMEMBER. I WAS FROM THE SAME PEOPLE FROM THE VIEW MASTER.
Its the Fischer Price Movie Viewer. I had one about 30 years ago, barely 3 years old. I played with it tons. I could control how fast or slow things go. I still have it at home. I remember it had remarkable quality. I always would roll forward slow then fast. It was truly a simple and fascinating toy!
@ericdeford for anybody that had that 3D view master you cant say didnt none of yall watch that in reverse, i thought it was funny watching it normal but then i would watch it in reverse and it would be even funnier especially at the scene where the ghost was in the drawer n kept changing drawers, ha ha ha ha lol LMMFAO :~)
Oh Boy! I found it! Oh thank you tube and vriosm! I saw this as a kid and never forgot it. I have a bubble gum card with art from this gem, and always hoped I'd find it on a video collection somewhere. And ...so i have...passthe popcorn...yum
I can't remember, did the Fischer Price Movie Viewer play sound?
