  • How should I fish in upper 90's, or should I not even bother

  • @kevbot31 Hot weather is a great tim for buzz bait. Try fishing after sundown and before it is dark out. Fish in 2- 6 feet of water near thick covr like over logs or wood or near thick lilly pads but not in the cover. fishing early is a great choice!

  • Hey Roger, first I'd like to say thanks for the videos. They are very helpful. Im from Oklahoma and I have a trip planned to McGee Creek Lake. It is stocked with Florida strain largemouth. It's a clear lake with alot of flooded timber. What would you suggest throwing. I'm going on April 8,9, & 10th.

Thanks again for the time you spend on helping other anglers.

  • @51speedway1 Sorry for not getting back to you faster. I would look for shallow horizantal logs and fish around and between them. Focus on the north shore.

  • EARLY MORNING BUZZ!!! You gotta love it!

  • man. your videos are the best on the web. THE most informative on youtube.

  • Hey exbass guide. it's been hot for a week where i live(in the top 85's F ) and i was wondering if it would be a good time to go fish or not due to this really hot weather thanks..

  • It's a great time to fish a buzz bait after the sun goes down! check out my buzz bait video for more information!

    Roger

  • great vid even better info thanks for posting

  • The quality of information from you, has yet to dissappoiny me. I think over half my tacklebox is based off your advice

  • HEY ROGER where do you fish and get your gear?

  • I fish the Columbia River, Silver lake Wa. and Lacamas lake Wa and Hagg lake Or.

    I get my gear all over on-line by-mart .

  • pattern is key all water has a pattern

  • good video thanks!

  • Good info

Also! Fish the windy side of coves!

The smaller bait fish will usually take that side b/c of the currents.

So if you can find a nice shadowed but windy bay. Fish the junk out of it. B/c chances are your gonna be walking into a breakfast feeding frenzy the likes of a Denny's resteraunt.

and if the sun is breakin onto the windy side thats just as great. Maybe swith up for a flashy metallic flake tube or such. And remember dont give up for at least an hour.

    Classic standard rule!

  • Which Crystal lake do you fish? my friend has a summer home on a private crystal lake up in wisconsin in cable

  • good info as always.

  • I haven't caught one yet, except paylakes.

One day I will catch one legit with these quality tips.
