I don't know if anyone over there is celebrating sanheim in a violent way anymore. When it was involved with druidism they burned live horses, but now religions have evolved and I would hope that people aren't still harming animals to celebrate/do rituals.
Oh god...what an awful example of 'the occult' in particular Witchcrat/Paganism...and essentially, for what hes saying, he hasnt actually got a clue! I should hope anyone with an ounce of sense should instantly disregard this as preposterous. Its more likely some strange black market value, not black magick. And most definately NOT flying ointments. This made me laugh.
i want to know kevin, has this problem be resolved yet? ppl will keep on descrimminating us pagans because as soon as something happens they need a skapegoat.well i hope its been solved.
Hi no one in witchcraft pratices would do this.Yes horse hair is used in tradition witchcraft, and so is the fungus that grows on there hoofs. But animals are respected, and treated well. This is some sick cult.nothing to do with british witchcraft or other occult pratices.
Im open minded person, but can anyone tell me what these poor animmals do to to deserve this .The media get hold of this and dont get the facts right .Maybe if caught the shite bags who do this , get the same treatment ,yeah?
Bollocks. What evidence is there that this is witchcraft related? None. Thats not warning people whats going on, its creating yet more discrimination that pagans have to live with. You think the average joe is going to distinguish so-called "good" pagans from so-called "bad" pagans? Not on the likely. Nice way of stereotyping us by holding the black cat, by the way. I agree with Gnowave...less telly for you.
The woman owns a stud farm. It was her valuable animals, her stallion and foals, that were cut. Its probably a rival stud or daft kids messing about, or someone with a weird horse fixation...look up zoosadism for more on that. The vast majority of pagans are law abiding and wouldnt do this to another's "property", or disrespect a horse in such a manner. Theres very little evidence of cultish groups like this, and saying such a thing with no evidence hardly does the pagan community any good.
Perhaps you should have made that clear that it has nothing to do with Paganism then? Or better still leave the public speaking to a professional body such as the Pagan Federation who have elected spokespeople for exactly such tasks. No offense, but appearing with the stereotypical black cat, Pentagram etc does little for the credibility of UK Pagans, it just reinforces that we are all loonies!
ha, it HAD to be in Aberdeen.

Even in the old days, horses would have been treated well, as it would have been considered a part of the family.

Could you please explain what branch of Paganism you are talking of?
Trikervix 3 years ago
I think we are dealing with a cult outside of Wicca/Paganism, Earth Magic and even Satanism.
