If my memory serves me correctly, you could only access that room after clearing a Hacker puzzle. Maybe you have never seen/ manage to complete said puzzle.

Until I replayed years later and googled this, that teleporter stumped the SHIT out of me. Everytime someone played i backsteat driver'd them into going to it no matter what, to no avail.

Ratchet and Clank 2 & 3 both have the Insomniac Museum and both can be accessed by finding a teleporter in one level of each game, and can only be accessed at a certain time of the day. R&C2 is in Silver city, 3 is in Metropolis. Both are open between 3-4am.

In 2, completing the game 100% allows infinite access from the Pause menu.

In 3, completing the game 100% allows complete access to the teleport to the Insomniac museum on the Starship Phoenix in the trophy room.

ah yes, I remember once getting to that museum, but now....I don't remember how to get in, in metropolis, that teleport always says it's out of order....why's that? and how can I get it work again? :)

You either have to get all of the trophies and the door in the trophy room will open. As for the teleporter, you have to go to it between 3 an 4 am.

@PsychadelicoDuck Well, one way of getting into the teleporter for this museum is to set your PS2's time to 3:00 AM.

For R&C 2, however...it's more complicated. Go and search on Youtube for info on it; I can't explain it well enough in this tiny little comment space.

you have to do it in 5 in the moring but you can just change the clock on the PS2
