@jkudapaul , Sherry Scott sang this song with so much soul and feeling that this song can take you there. I remember when this album came out and it was called "The Need Of Love." I was like eleven or twelve and they would play this song on WDAS in Philly and everyone would be singing it.

this song hooked me to this group as well. Here's a bit of trivia for all you 'old heads' like me: If you remember the blaxploitation movie "sweet sweetback badass song" EWF did the soundtrack. Unfortunately it was not as popular as the soundtracks for "shaft" or "superfly"

When I typed the name of the song in IT CAME UP I never forgot this song and was happy to hear this great song again!! OH. MY. GOD. This is a remarkable and underrated EWF classic with silver tongue Sherry Scott singing lead. Though it didn't get as much airtime as they mid to late 1970s & 1980s imprints, "Think About Loving You" is indeed one for the ages. Thanks so much for bringing this giant of a song to the masses. Hopefully, the YouTube police wont yank it from the site like they've done to so many other postings.

Sherry Scott a few years ago and she is still doing what she loves...singing. She and Jessica Cleaves put EWF on the map back in the seventies when I was a kid. We came up listening to some really great music.
