Excellent choice for a card tricks 101 tutorial. I remember learning this one from Royal Road. It's easier to come up with witty ripostes for your tricks though.

Thumbs up for important notes, and dogs that probably need a healthy dose of lithium.

great card trick...I don't know about tutorials...maybe...definately no more than one a month...I mean, I had to learn the hard way, I read books... :) But I suppose some novice level stuff wouldn't be too bad and I totally agree with @mikemontalvo make the trick your own, once you have the basics down... Nice tutorial, one my rules is never try to learn the trick exactly as it is being taught, learn what the setup is, learn what the slight is or what it is that makes the magic happen and then fill in the rest, as long as you do the setup and the slight, you can do whatever else you want and the end result is the same, in turn you can change your patter and how looks and make the trick yours, or preform it again and it looks different. Easier not to have to remember when you improvise :o)
