You should take a look at how France disposes their nuclear waste. 95% of it is recycled and reused. It's also much cleaner and safer than coal or oil burning powerplants. And the safety procedures are highly refined now these days. the incident that happened in Chernobyl was completely their fault. Had they not overridden all the safety procedures. It wouldn't of happened.
Good example of citizen democracy in action. The organizers are to be commended. Unforunate the rest of the population can't be more engaged in what's going on. And I don't think corporations or the mainstream media care about this event either way. Well, maybe Bruce power and the AB govmn't does. But we voted in the latter so what can you expect when you fill the legislature with people that have no vision..
