This band could never be better than Metallica and could never make it as far as Metallica has in their career. Do not ever say a band is better than Metallica, rock bands or metal bands wouldn't be where they are in their career if it wasnt for Metallica. 99.9% of bands looked up to Metallica growing up.

Im just here to say they sucked ass after the black album and sold out! At least everyone that is a die hard fan says this. I lost a lot of respect for them after the whole downloading music full on assault against fans. Stone Sours albums are better than all the albums after the black album, and Corey is a much better singer than James could ever dream of being

@darknight23x No, all of metallica's albums are great yeah they arent all the same which is good and they did that only because they was reaching out for more fans which they got. No band should stick to the same sounding shit, and with metallica's latest albums they wanted to sound just alittle more modern and use some of the digital effects the modern bands use like stone sour uses which shows that metallica is real, stone sour does not sound the same live as they do on a album metallica does.

@mikeyvarner Metallica's albums aren't the best there good, also SS just started doing that digital effects, but there other albums aren't like that. I am not a dumb ass fan who thinks SS is the best to ever play, I just think right now they are one of the best rock groups today. There style is unmatched they can be heavy and light there songs has great personal meaning, and the music instruments are really great not the best, but really great. SS songs are more powerful and deeper thanothers

@darknight23x Metallica is not Rock, they are thrash metal there is a huge difference, I have been a fan of Metallica ever since I was 4 years of age and have done guitar covers when i was younger and all their instrumentals are great and have a lot of heart and emotion into it and their lryics actually have more meaning than what people think. Stone Sour is not the greatest rock band in this day of time or any other, there are many other bands that blow them out of the water.

@mikeyvarner I think that they are, but I am a little bias because I am a hugh slipknot fan. I really never listen to SS genre of music. I was all about metal and I was very small minded like most metal fans, also I got introduced to 10 years around the same time and loved there music and still do. I just like SS, there music and Metallica are not the same at all, so really this is pointless. We will never agree on this. This song is just a cover song and a crapy recording, who is better?

Obviously Jim Root ain't in that set since he joined late 95-early 96. I don't know what guitarist is playing in this recording... they went through 14 different guitarists during those years according to Josh Rand in a more recent interview.
