This video dates from the early to mid-80s. I recognize the cars and used to live in Paris at that time. There were a few people doing that and it was insane. There are two "peripherique", the big one like this above and the smaller one. Many people used to cover it as quickly as possible. Those were crazy years there. There are some nice close calls in this one.

the technology in 1989 is nowhere close to what is now. I think to ride as fast as Ghost Rider did at night makes it even crazier due to the lack of forward visibility. But, had GR had the same 1989 set up as the Black Prince....I think GR's outcome would have been much slower..
