Physical suffering occurs and God can heal it if you have true faith in him.
Mental suffering occurs and it's between you and God to get through it. My original point referred only to physical suffering, which can be healed instantly with faith, though mental suffering happens to everyone (including the faithful). We need to stand strong and ask God for guidance in those situations. Also note, kids are young and their faith in God is little, they'd normally look to parents for help.
Not praying with sincere faith in God, we all naturally put a limit on God, as we don't allow what isn't expected to happen. So if its not normal for me to heal on the spot, I might not have faith in God's doing so.

That does not mean he does. If god heals all mental suffering, then why is online bullying such a huge problem for kids? Online bullies never lay a finger on their victims. Yet those victims, which at least some are Christian and have faith, suffer greatly. Lack of faith is not the cause of all suffering.
I'd also like to add that God can allow suffering, like cyber bullying, as you mentioned, so that we can grow and learn from mistakes. We can build a backbone and become stronger than we were before, which is more beneficial than not.

Yes, God knows already the medicines needed, but what you do not realise is that disease is a medicine in itself. Sickness is caused either by human sins or a way of testing people's faith. If you cure only the body you solve nothing, you must first fix the causing element for the disease. You can use liposuction to get someone thin, but if the person is a compulsive eater the person will become fat again. Hope you understand.

This disproves your claim about the reason for suffering in two ways: 1) God allowed Job's suffering, which makes God partially responsible for Job's pain. 2) An all-knowing, all-loving God would know Job's true nature without being tricked by a deceitful angel. Tests of faith are meaningless to omniscient beings.

God knew Job would remain faithful, and he was not tricked by Satan. God showed Satan the faith of his followers, with Job leading as an example who was faithful until the end. When I referred to suffering, I meant disease and sickness, which God told Satan not to lay a finger on Job's head. Job's servants and family didn't suffer, as their deaths were sudden. So Job didn't suffer physically, but mentally, which God can heal. Job's faith is also strengthened through this test of faith

Physical suffering occurs and God can heal it if you have true faith in him.
Mental suffering occurs and it's between you and God to get through it. My original point referred only to physical suffering, which can be healed instantly with faith, though mental suffering happens to everyone (including the faithful). We need to stand strong and ask God for guidance in those situations. Also note, kids are young and their faith in God is little, they'd normally look to parents for help.

The person might have sincere faith in God, but their faith limits God, as they may not believe in the limitless power, being able to heal someone instantly, right before their eyes, from whichever sickness they have. In Matthew 17:20, Jesus tells us that faith of a mustard seed can move mountains.

That does not mean he does. If god heals all mental suffering, then why is online bullying such a huge problem for kids? Online bullies never lay a finger on their victims. You shouldn't be proud of your sexual desire, it is a burden and you are a slave to it because it is Gods way of making sure you procreate. But you act as if you got it all figured out. So haekel68, if it was a result of Adam's sin that we have cancer and disease, then you are implicitly recognizing that it was God who made those diseases as a result of his sin. My question to you then would be is this: if this is true, then is this supposedly loving god really worth worshipping? He condemned uncounted billions to suffering and death simply because of the actions of two people who were ignorant. Where is the justice in that?

What is cancer? Cancer is an abnormal reproduction of cells. Before Adam's sin, the cells didn't have any problems replicating but after original sin, we had problems. The cancer cells aren't some totally different foreign matter that just poofed into existence, it is simply a disorganized, abnormal reproduction of cells.

She was annoying and is a perfect example of why Ray kept saying that you have to have eyes that can see and a brain that works. Cells, eyes, etc... are too complicated to have just poofed into existence over billions of years. Cancer cells are simply abnormal replicating of cells. God isn't responsible for those, they came about after mans disobedience, i.e. original sin.

The problem with atheist saying they read the bible but do not feel anything is because you have to pray first and ask God to send his holy spirit to guide you and give you understanding. otherwise you can read the bible a thousand times and would not get it. it is a choice of obedience,and the surrender of "Self" that allows you to understand God better. pray for understanding whether you believe in God or not.

The reason we can see that God is just is because he created us to be the witness we can either choose Gods side or Satans side there is nothing else.
We judge what is honest true right moral that is God , where as satan is dishonest, false, and immoral, the complete opposite of God.
