Very good point. That's what Talley would say, lol. I really should have, and I would NOW but I added two bass notes right after the second snare hit (I know which groove you're referring to) which are -e-&- so to STOP the hi-hat quarters JUST for that would kind of ruin the whole continuity of the riff. Also, it's kind of difficult to keep that left foot motion, then cut it, then get back on, but I'll work with it. My left foot does get bored during that section...
thats good man... the only thing id say to do is add time keeping with your hi hat for those big crash single foot grooves.
