And Russell resigned from the BBC. I reckon the public were a lil too harsh on them both...

If you don't want to look it up: The Daily Mail reported on Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand saying some dirty things on Andrew Sachs' voicemail. The Daily Mail referred to Mr. Sachs with inflamitory terms like "national treasure" in order to get their readers more fired up leading to approximately 17 complaints to the BBC about the radio bit. Brand resigned from the Beeb in the melay and Ross was suspended for a few weeks.
