  • was that rapid fire?? hell no

  • I thought the A3 had a removeable carrying handle, huh you learn something new everyday... :)

  • @legokid87654321 its does, he must have gotten confused, co that was an M16A2

  • @zrg9489 te figlio de bottana :D

  • @kbawesome101 nerd of Call Of Duty

  • @TheAkibeel he wasn't even refering to call of duty. who's the nerd now?

  • Comment removed

  • the way that ur holding the m16 is just... homosexual

  • he fired 5 shots in like 6 secs that not rapid

  • Haha, that's an A2 man

  • A3 huh?

  • Does the a3 have a removable handle

  • Why is this called rapid fire when you don't shoot full auto

  • @TheAmazingShoff

Because he's firing quickly at a specific target. Using full auto on a target is pretty much pointless.

  • A3 is not an LMG you may be thinking of the A2 LMG

  • That is not how to have your off-hand hand position while shooting in the prone sheesh!

  • I hate it when fags that play COD and come on real gun vids and act like they no something

  • Nope some divisions of the us forces were complaining about carrying an a2 and gettin bushed up close, so the request was sent in for an auto 16 that had the better forgrip of an a2 and also the extended stock and slightly heavywe barrel

  • wtf?????? isnt a a3 a lmg variant?

  • are you guys in the teams? i didn't think the m16a3 was fielded by anyone outside naval special warfare.

  • That's an interesting way to hold the front of a M16.

  • There's something mysteriously sexy about the 20 (realistically, 18) round mags.

  • that's an m16a2 look at its sights

  • @sangminlee1234 actually, you can't distinguish A2s from A3 from the rear sight alone. The difference would be in the firing modes.

  • @csmybuttt the m16a3 has a removable carrying handle

  • @sangminlee1234 Not necessarily. You can always get a flat-top upper for an A4 lower, but original A3's were just automatic A2's.

  • one of the best assault rifle around there.

  • You have no idea how bad i want to do that

  • that was 4 shots with about 1.5 to 2.0 delay between each shot, that wasnt rapid fire

  • is the A3 burst and auto or is that the A2?

  • @MrCassaroleCyrus A1 and A3 are Semi and Fully auto, A2 and A4 are single and burst

  • very cool. i appreciate the work our military work does for us. thank you!

  • what is the different betwen m16 a2 a3 and a4?

  • @sabufinisher the rear sight comes off on the a3 & a4. also the a4 is full auto and a2 & a3 are 3 rnd burst but every one just shoots semi so that dont really matter

  • @sabufinisher sry the a3 is full auto a4 is burst . got mixed

    up

  • @tir4 its ok and thx alot 4 that

  • @sabufinisher

    The A1 is semi/full auto

The A2 is semi/3 round burst

    The A3 is semi/auto

The A4 is semi/3 round burst

  • @92ladderley a1 full auto only

  • @chikaidenlee No the A3 is Full Auto as well, the A1 was the Vietnam M16 with the duckbill look and small clip. The A2 was made for three round burst and the A3 has a Full Auto version. Gotta go to a gun store to get one.

  • @JoeCrazyEyes actually the A1 had the full birdcage falsh hider and teardrop forward assist, the original M16 had the duckbill and no forward assist

  • @92ladderley finally someone else who knows that.

  • @92ladderley at BCT you train with an A2

  • what?! that was bull

  • I don't see a difference between the M16A4 and the M16A3 could someone tell me the difference

  • Full auto for A3 and extremely accurate and light weight for A4.

  • @RedSoxfan107 the A3 model was made i few numbers and only the navy uses it and its semi and full. the A4 model is still wildly used in the army and marines and its semi and 3 round burst.

  • @RedSoxfan107 the m16a3 is fully automatic and the m16a4 is 3R burst

  • the A3 can be 3 round burst or full auto

  • you call that rapid fire?

  • lol i know right

  • ridicolous distance....

  • are M16A3s in use only in navy ?

  • @Dollar1998 yes

  • So you were only useing the 20 round mag. Did you use the 30 round mag?

  • M16A2 and A4: Semi/three round burst

    M16A1 and A3: Semi/fully auto.

  • The m16a3 and a4 also has removable carryhandles ontop right???

  • Yeah supposedly...

  • nah, only the M16A4.

  • No... an A3 has full auto capability and can either have a removable handle or not. The A4 always has a removable handle and is 3-shot burst.

  • yep.

  • wasn't it A1/A2 semi and auto

A3/A4s semi and 3 round burst?

  • No.

M16A1/A3 - Semi and Fully Auto

    M16A2/A4 - Semi and Burst.

  • depends on reciever..............lower

  • Yeah, that too.

  • A2 has the 3 round burst and semi i dont know about A4

  • A1 and A3 Auto

    A2 and A4 3 RD burst........

    WIKIPEDIA

  • And before anybody gets on him about Wikipedia not really being a reliable source of info, take notice that, not all, but most info from Wiki is quite accurate - in this case, Wikipedia is right.

  • and the A4 has the Ris/Ras rails :P

  • ive never seen anyone hold a gun like that

  • I hope to be trained with this rifle in the near future.

  • nice sound. pretty powerfull

  • i love the sound of how they pull the charging handle back no other sound like it, dad has the same m16 lol great rifle

  • rapidly semi-auto.

  • yes very rapid

  • m16a3 is just the m16a2 with slight modifications to weight and aiming etc and full auto instead of 3-round burst

  • those look like m16A2

  • The A3 is a modified A2 made for the US Navy.

  • M16A1 upper with a M16A2 lower correct?

  • I would think it is a m16a2 with a A1 trigger group

  • An M16A2 with an improved M16A1 trigger group. The original had issues.

  • what do you have to score on the ASVAP to qualify for a seabee?

  • join us lad best thing ive ever done, seabee's that is

    Seaman Apprentiance Pearce

    Us Naval Construction Battalion 23

    US Navy

  • Are you able to put an M203 on it?

  • you could. Other than if you were going out in combat, in the civilian sector, i don't see much practical use for it, but i mean, if you got the money and the right paper work, yea would have to disassemble the forstock, and attach the 203 on the gas ring and behind the front sight.

  • i would imagine a 203 would be quite effect against small boats

  • @jzendt04

On our last deployment back in '08 we had the topside rovers' carrying an M16 with a 203 attachment. There really was no point, seeing as they never gave us ammunition for the grenade launcher during our watches....and since half of it was in European ports, what did they think we were going to do? Lob grenades into downtown Plymouth? Good ole' Navy.

  • @jzendt04 You're in the Navy? I want to do that and go into the SEALs :D

  • @jzendt04 what does the M203 have to do with the gas rings , those are inside the bolt carrier ? i ASSuME you mean barrel ring.

  • As a civilian I dont see the point in having a M203 execpt as a colecters item.

But it would be prety bad ass to have a M16a3!

  • @jzendt04 Which do you prefer? A1, A2, A3, or A4? Or are they all the same (With the exception that the A1 is missing forward assist)

  • @baggedyman A1 is not missing the forward assist, what you mean is the basic M16 variant (without any "A" designation). Also they are not all the same. As far as i know, M16 A1 has no chromed chamber, still the first M16 generation iron sights and some more internal (and external) differences to later versions. M16 A2 is nearly (some internal fixes to reduce jamming) the same like A3, just without rails and A4 is actually an A3 variant with fully automatic mode instead of burst.

  • @VpR81

    M16 is Full w/o FA

    M16A1 is Full W/ FA

    A2 Is Burst

    A3 is Full

    A4 is Burst

Thats what I got. Thanks, I thought M16 and M16A1 were the same.

  • @baggedyman Yes, forgot that the A1 is FA and i was sure that A3 and A4 is the other way around. But i read it up, you are right!

  • even if you could get a grenade launcher there is no place to buy the grenades it would be a purly cosmetic item

  • you can put a M203 on any m16 rifle.

  • @LtGenAile

thats what the m16a4 is for...the navy is the only branch that still uses the a3. if you need add-ons the a4 has rails built for that

  • hmm i never thought of holding my c7 like that lol is it more stable? im a lefty though if i hold it like that i might block the ejection port cover

  • it works just as well with a lefty as a righty. Just on your platform hand, make sure that the rifle rests in the groove of your hand between your thumb and index finger and keep your fingers stright

  • @DCLeong1991 Stag Arms Makes upper receivers for lefties. Didnt knwo if ya knew that. You could also get a brass deflector.

  • just wondering when was the last time the US used there navy in a war?

  • actually... we used it quite exentsivly in OIF 1 and more so in OEF and OIF 2

  • O because I haven't heard about them doing anything for awile.

  • @jzendt04 Is the Navy being used for air support? Or any kind of infantry ground work? I couldn't imagine any amphibious assaults being made other than by Marines on the rivers, but that's it.

  • wtf? get outside more.

  • no you stop responding to comments that are 8months old

  • right now. Navel aircraft are being used to be used as air support.

  • @imbordashell we use it in every war... where do you think the F/A-18 Super Hornets came from to shock an awe iraq in 2001? our super carriers...

  • why you guys have a full auto one?

  • to kill more people while defending the ship

  • i have the air version of it ;)

    pretty fucking nice

  • interesting tecnique with the grip ive never seen that before might try it when i get the chance

  • no way a pulled on that shot z...no way at all...

  • usually , you jam your arm in the sling on the standing position lol

anyway everybody has is how shooting technique

  • I've never seen anyone holding the gun that way.

  • just prone, slung in, rifle off the deck. nothing too fancy. We shot this course of fire bout two times a day for around 4 weeks, we were trying every shooting style possible.

  • yea sorry about my comment earlier....i got confused by ur hands during the shooting. it seemed like triangles

  • all 5 rounds through the same hole...that's some good shooting

  • only a pro could do that

  • no i've done that with an m-14 supermatch and a rem 700 a few times and im no pro. just keep your point of aim the same, control your breathing, and trigger pull and your fine

  • do you prefer the M16A3 or -A4?

  • never shot an A4, shot the M4, pretty solid weapon with the heat shield on the forstock and the verticle mounting rails. aside from all the cool things you can add on the M4, is the same weapon pretty much as the A3, collapsable stock on the M4 makes it nice

  • cool. what would you personally put on the rail interface system (RIS)?

  • i do not personally have an M4 or a need to use it for anything other than sport shooting or hunting, but if i had one, and had a need to mount something on it, maybe an infrared lazer

  • I would put on a Red Dot Sight

  • red dot sounds good. if i was military (which i am not, and make no attempt at faking) i would put on a eotech holosite, forward handgrip, and a suppressor. i know it's not masking the sonic crack of the bullet but it masks alot of the muzzleblast and -flash. i also heard it tames the recoil a bit, which is always useful. that is just my amatuer, civilian opinion. if any of you are military and disagree, feel free to let me know.

  • i'd be all about the eotech optic, but personally i see the forward handgrip as unnecessary. Thats just my personal opinion, unless your going around constantly going from the ready to eyes on... just my opinion.

  • i've heard the forward handgrip helps control muzzle rise by helping you pull down the muzzle. that was my thought in putting it on. but man, that eotech is really something else, isn't it.

  • oh yea man, its one sweet piece of glass and metal. if i had the money, it'd be the only optics that i would use.

  • What is the eotech? I am in the Army and I've used the Red Dot Scope, but never heard of the eotech.

  • isnt m16a3 supposed to have a removable carrying handle? and supposed to be full auto two....

  • it does have a removable carry hand and is full auto, we were not shooting full auto and there was no need to remove the carry handle.

  • cool...say, does the a3 ever see field work or is it mainly for training purpouses?

  • it sees field work, its getting out there, just slowly. don't know why, but its only slowly getting out to the guys in the sand box.

  • maburaho, its an A3. I would know.

  • nope M16A3 with short 20 rounds mag

  • M16A1 ^^

  • ok... this isn't Vietnam....
