They should have used the music from this trailer in the actual movie. It would have made it much more emotional and deep. I love this movie and the original. They are both two of my favorite movies. I just wish the film company wouldnt have hacked city of angels to pieces. But its still awesome nonetheless.

i love all the crow movies but i think losing your child is worse then losing the love of your life. I like the second one the best because its different. All the others are the same. About losing the woman you love. At least in this one he lost his child not his love.

WHY YOU GUYS ARE ALWAYS SAYING "no one can stop Brandon Lee" ?? I understand he was a brilliant actor in the first movie but IT DOES NOT MEAN that the next (second and third part) are shit. I can't choose one as my favorite, I liked the crow 1,2 and 3. And I would say this is my favorite, I really liked the story, in some way it's more realistic and Vincent Perez was a great option as the crow.

I actually like this movie...even though it was a bit like Devil May Cry 2 (surprise-wise) but still it has its own flabour...even though its not as clasic as the original movie before it, its stil has some zest...you have to read and look between the lines to understadn what is going on, rather than swicth off because of the apparently poor script and acting.....

Not at all. The Crow is a comic book character and in the comics there are a lot of different Crows. Once a Crow finishes whatever Earthly business they have, they pass on to the other side and someone else becomes the Crow to avenger their deaths.

the first crow flick was great of course,it woulda been the movie to give brandon lee his big break if he hadn't died.the second was was decent,it wasnt as good as the first but it still beats the hell outta those two crappy sequals n that mediocre tv show that followed it.
The first movie was of course the ultimate and I adore Brandon Lee! That one is just so dark and moving and the characters seem sooo real I love them! This one I thought was still pretty good, but the last two were awful it's like they didnt even try! -.-
This really was meant to be a good sequel to the first film, but a lot from the performers lacked there roles along with some speedy scenes which ultimately led to its demise. Vincent Perez did a good job, but Iggy Pop definitely did his part some justice - he was great!

The plot for this one was a good idea, but the villain and henchmen characters were the things that brought it down. I think that there is a chance to make this one really fanatastic. I haven't seen the directors cut of it & I hear its better. It could be like Rob Zombie's H2 directors cut it was better than the theatrical. So who knows.

I forgot it called "Pain and Retribution" by Graeme Revel,l man this soundtrack is the best for the crow 1 and 2 even though i think some things on the 2 crow is kinda really busting a lot of gay, that messed up the movie but it was good....the gay action they need to friggin lay off that. If Brandon Lee and James O Barr was to see that they would have had a f***ing fit as to who the hell f-ed up "The Crow" with all this faliness. Ok this cleared things up for me! I thought the other Crow movies were about Eric, at least they are using different characters. I haven't seen the other Crow movies but I think that even when I do see them I'll still think Brandon Lee was the best! It really sucks that he died...

The first Crow will always be the best! COA is still good to watch. All the other ones were good to watch if you were seriously bored..but that's just my opinion.

this had an interesting setting the new crow look wasnt bad, Mia Kirshner was hot, iggy pop was in it, but what i didnt care for was the sex shops and the bondage stuff i thought that was too much and you cant top the origional.
That is true. I'm one of the few guys who enjoys this movie just as much as Proyas's first one with Brandon Lee, but the torture/S&M fetishist angle in City of Angels was a little bit too nasty for me.
The first Crow had some brutal stuff going on too, but it was all presented tastefully unlike in CoA where it seemed like it was there to just creep you out. I still enjoyed both movies though--CoA gets a lot of undeserved hate.
I like the look of COA a lot...the yellow and green fog....other than that, the acting is prety atrocious, the script coulda been better, and the bad guys shoulda been more developed (character-wise)...Did you ever read a Crow comic called "Dead Time"? That shoulda been the 2nd movie....

I don't know, I think Salvation is better than this. Much more unique. I thought Stairway to Heaven was cool too, but would have been cooler if Mark Dacascos was a little older at the time.
Salvation wasn't really bad. It just lacked any artistic direction. Say what you want about City of Angels but it is VERY well-made and has some excellent visuals. Salvation just looked lifeless.
In my opinion, This crow film is visual very strong. It's like a fairytale that is dark and colourful at the same time. But when I really saw it, I was really disappointed about the plot. I think that most of the people have to high expectations by watching this movie. I hope that I will like it more after seeing it a second time.
This seems to be the only Crow sequel worth watching without being paid to watch it. I love the look, Vincent Perez makes an awesome Crow and I love how he does justice to Lee without entirely copying him, because bear in mind, people, that Ashe is COMPLETELY different from Eric.
I have to laugh because everyone thinks that Vincent Perez was trying to replace Brandon Lee as The Crow when, if you actually watch the movie, you would know that they play 2 TOTALLY DIFFERENT characters.

BUT I hightly recommend reading "The Crow: Wicked Prayer by Norman Partridge". The book is awesome

ill never forget when i first started seeing the trailors for this movie when i was like 15 and goin insane over it..i couldnt wait..they made it look so fucking great and i am THE BIGGEST FAN of the original..u have no idea so dnt even start attackin me bout how u are or she is..the movie changed my life as a kid...but when city of angels came out...i was rather bummed...true the original cut of it is like 2.30hrs and was way different then the final cut(i have the reconstructed dvd)

I forgot it called "Pain and Retribution" by Graeme Revel,l man this soundtrack is the best for the crow 1 and 2 even though i think some things on the 2 crow is kinda really busting a lot of gay, that messed up the movie but it was good....the gay action they need to friggin lay off that. If Brandon Lee and James O Barr was to see that they would have had a f***ing fit as to who the hell f-ed up "The Crow" with all this faliness. It should have more ass kicking action and drama and less talkin

I hope the workprint scenes are release on a DVD or Blu Ray because This was a good sequel but if they put the workprint scenes in I would call it an excellent sequel btw Vincent Perez was a damn good crow but Brandon Lee I think way better.

all the crow movies have a kick ass soundtrack,no matter how bad the sequal might be.the first movie had rage against the machine,nine ince nails,pantera,n stoned temple pilots.the second movie here had white zombie,korn,deftones,filter,n hole.hell,even that lousy third sequal had fear factory,monster magnet,rob zombie,filter,n slipknot.the crow movies are known to have cool soundtracks.

I say if they're gonna do another one don't remake the original. Instead base it more off of the comic. But change Eric into some one else. B/c when ppl think Eric Draven they think Brandon Lee. City of Angels, despite it's flaws was the only other Crow movie that could hold a candle to the original.

However crap even "Pet Sematary 2" was, it was at least a different story, different people etc. I haven`t seen this Crow 2 but I just really don`t get the reason why they made it - apart from being money-grabbing bastards who just wanted to rip off the story and get some easy cash flowing in without any effort.

Ok this cleared things up for me! I thought the other Crow movies were about Eric, at least they are using different characters. I haven't seen the other Crow movies but I think that even when I do see them I'll still think Brandon Lee was the best! It really sucks that he died...

this had an interesting setting the new crow look wasnt bad, Mia Kirshner was hot, iggy pop was in it, but what i didnt care for was the sex shops and the bondage stuff i thought that was too much and you cant top the origional.

That is true. I'm one of the few guys who enjoys this movie just as much as Proyas's first one with Brandon Lee, but the torture/S&M fetishist angle in City of Angels was a little bit too nasty for me.
The first Crow had some brutal stuff going on too, but it was all presented tastefully unlike in CoA where it seemed like it was there to just creep you out. I still enjoyed both movies though--CoA gets a lot of undeserved hate.

I like the look of COA a lot...the yellow and green fog....other than that, the acting is prety atrocious, the script coulda been better, and the bad guys shoulda been more developed (character-wise)...Did you ever read a Crow comic called "Dead Time"? That shoulda been the 2nd movie....

I don't know, I think Salvation is better than this. Much more unique. I thought Stairway to Heaven was cool too, but would have been cooler if Mark Dacascos was a little older at the time.

Salvation wasn't really bad. It just lacked any artistic direction. Say what you want about City of Angels but it is VERY well-made and has some excellent visuals. Salvation just looked lifeless.

In my opinion, This crow film is visual very strong. It's like a fairytale that is dark and colourful at the same time. But when I really saw it, I was really disappointed about the plot. I think that most of the people have to high expectations by watching this movie. I hope that I will like it more after seeing it a second time.

This seems to be the only Crow sequel worth watching without being paid to watch it. I love the look, Vincent Perez makes an awesome Crow and I love how he does justice to Lee without entirely copying him, because bear in mind, people, that Ashe is COMPLETELY different from Eric.

There is nothing wrong with these films from the cinematic aspect - if we only didn`t know what happened to him while shooting the movie.
