I was messing around with another song and just kinda stumbled upon this. A guy on youtube named "theschnee" has a great cover played a bit like this (mine is more basic) he has a close up of his fingerings if that helps. the original was written by rezso seress to go along with the sheet music. it was rewritten shortly after with the flowers are dead and the dreams have died part. the original starts out with, "world has come to an end" you can find the original on this sight in english and hungarian

@Moupimoupimoupi i dont know about a citation, but i do know that rezso wrote words to go along with his composition, and they were dismissed as too gloomy, even though gloomy, or even a hungarian facsimile of said word, was not in it, and the words they used to replace it, written by a different man, had gloomy right in the title, which was somoru vasarnap, which is widely known as the original song gloomy sunday was based on. not true.
