@Nachurallbeaut that's because she isn't natural, she just stretched her relaxer for a year. go check it out, it's more common than you think. Not everyone wants to jump on the natural bandwagon
i enjoy my hair also but some of these people on here always in protective stye every single day . why grow your hair when you gonna still be in wig every single day ...

Long stretches is wassup onika I contribute it to my health of my hair. Lolz yes thank God for gel I stretched 14 months now I will only do 6 months at sum point enough is enough lolz it gets tough
@TheThikChik I stretched 14 months n I relaxed myself u just gotta put oil or conditioner to protect ur already relaxed ends but if u feel u might not be able by all means go to a salon
Maybe you or anyone that sees this can help me out lol. But this is my first time stretching O_o i'm going for 9 months (4 down 5 to go) but did you go to a professional to relax or did you do it yourself. I ask this becuz i plan on doin mine at home and i'm afraid when i relax that i'll end up relaxing the hair that is already relaxed. I'm thinking of goin to a professional so i won't have a setback..
@layaxbahd1 it is the time you wait to relax your hair. Example: you get a relaxer on Jan 1 and get another one on March 1. The time in between your two relaxers is how long you "stretch" or 8 weeks post relaxer. It is good to stretch so you will not over process your hair. She has older videos of her showing how she relaxes and texlaxes her hair. Just type in stretching a relaxer in the search window to see what it is all about. It will help explain it a lot better than I did,
IF you dont like the edge control you have i know an excellent edge control and its called keracare edge tamer, it really lays down your edges, your hair looks nice to me but then again if your not satisfied, you should really give it a try!
i admire the fact that you stretch for so long. One day I hope to accomplish that. for this stretch did you encounter alot of shedding? because I am about to end a fourteen week stretch and this time around I found it so much harder and frustrating...
Every time I watch you videos, I try to guess where you accent is from. Lol. Are you Trinidadian? My grandmother is and you dialect sounds so much like hers.
If you use ORS, Sally's sells the box with two applications. This box however only has the mixing stick, the activator and the tub of the relaxer, and of course - the instructions! LOL!
I'd love to transition to texlaxed hair b/c I LOVE your thickness! But I'm lazy&don't feel like transitioning lol&I also hear of some ppl's hair breaking off when they try to transition to texlaxed sooo...idk! Heart ya though Nika! Love from Chi-Town! =)
