Well I live in Sacramento, and I can tell you that is a capitol Corridor train based ypon its length (Coast Starlate (Starlight) is like 30 cars long, rode it once) and The passenger cars are Capitol corridor and heading west so it has to be Capitol
Capitol Corridor trains go to either Oakland or San Jose. Only the California Zephyr terminates at Emeryville (in order to avoid having to back it up along The Embarcadero in Oakland).

i took that route on capitol corridor to san francisco. (richmond-bart then bart to embarcodero)

I don't think thats the Coast Starlight, more like the Capital Corridor to me.
