  • AMAZING MONTAGE!!! and I loved the music, wich is it??

  • shows hoe AMAZING those spotters are.

  • Whos was at 0:58??

  • Some great catches by those spotters there.

  • The spotters and the coaches dont give a shit about these girls. I mean, they do, as long as the girls are doing well. But the second they fall, or slip. the coaches dont care

  • Missing is a clip of Kerri Strug (USA) during a meet in Palm Desert, CA back in 1994/1995, when she lost her grip on a transition move from the high bar to the low bar during the Compulsory Exercise and flew under the low bar, landing on the side of her head with her feet/legs whipped over her head, which kept her lying on the mat for several minutes before they carried her off on a stretcher. Luckily she only suffered a strained lower back.

  • This was pretty funny.

  • Thanks for posting this and demonstrating that everyone makes mistakes, even if they are the smallest, most unplanned mistakes imaginable. These girls all had the guts to keep going when they made mistakes in front of large crowds and they did it while performing skills that most of us could only imagine in our wildest dreams. They are very inspiring actually. The most important part is to get up and keep going in life, no matter what, right? :)

  • we all sit her laughing at this shit when these moved really hurt your confidence when it happens to you.

  • Adrienne Nyeste: 2000 Olympics

  • bars is the scariets event to fail on !

  • What´s the name of this song ???

  • Pardon me for saying but Nast should have gotten bonus points at 3:01 for adding in a punch front at the end there.

    jkjk

  • the one at 2:07 looks like it hurt...

  • For the idiots who complain about the coaches not catching the gymnasts: YOU CAN GET POINTS OFF OR DISQUALIFIED IF YOUR COACH TOUCHES YOU. THEY FALL ON THEIR FACES THEY ARE USE TO IT. I WOULD RATHER FALL THAN BE DISQUALIFIED.

  • @RockinThaSoLows in bars they can catch them without recieving a deduction other than (maybe) not completing the element if they didnt touch the bar in "momentary hang"

  • whos 3:12?

  • This montage reminds me how difficult bars must be! Elites usually make it look so easy.

  • whos 0:20 ??

  • @co123445666 Shayla Worley at the 2008 Olympic Trials

  • was the girl @ 0:40 attempting a Def?

  • i dont even know why some of the coaches even stand to catch them cause they rarely do.

  • the girl at 0:00 should have caught the high bar after bouncing and act like she planned it that way all along

  • at 0:18 i wasnt doing that move but thats how i fell .........flat on my front

  • 0:00 is my fav

  • she may fall at the end BUT that girl does a good Geinger !

  • Who's at 1:01?

ANd stupid coaches can't even catch their gymnast..

  • @SilverDragon24

    That's Podkopayeva.

  • who is that at 0:28 and what skill is that?

  • @isa1285 It was Svetlana Baitova performing a tucked Hindorff

  • @MostepanovaFan I see, thanks, I really love this montage.

  • alot of these clips are from 2006 worlds it seems. What a splatfest that was.

  • omg!!!! that looks like it hurts!!! it probably does....OUCH!!!! im kinda scared about goin to gymnastics now...

  • really good job

  • sorry!! but who is at 2:17

  • What kills me are the spotters. Honestly...these clips pretty much prove they aren't really able to do anything.

  • i promise , it doesnt even look like they attempt to try to catch , they just watch em fall .

  • @kristenevol i was just thinking the same thing! spotter right underneath the gymnast. no flinching whatsoever when the poor girl lands like a plank board at his feet LOL

  • i keep telling my boyfriend that going back to gymnastics itsnt as easy as it sounds. he claims it cant hurt that bad, so i dont need the mats, i dont need a trainer to help spot me, and to just go at it, and that its not that dangerous. oh boy.

  • I'm sorry, but is he an idiot? o.0

  • hes just...idk.

I mean he did gymnastics when he was younger. Well, not really gymnastics, but hes a competative diver, so he knows how to flip and hes trained at gymnastics places, but for some reason he just doesn't realize how dangerous it is!

  • great montage "eating mat" looks painful lmao

  • Good mont-aye-age

  • Whats the skill on 2:40

  • :44 secinds into the video looked like it hurt bad!!!

  • Amazing montage, thanks...

  • Spotters: In the way when you are fine and doing amazingly well, but when you are falling on your face; nowhere to be found :P

  • Ha! I feel like I saw Venessa Atler half the time

  • the first one is soooo funny, kick the trainer with your ass!!^^

    I know it´s painful but sometimes i can´t stop laughing!!^^

  • at 3:oo what competition was natia in

  • It was the 2007 US Nationals (Day 1)

  • 2:09 looks painfull!

  • i did : 22 yesterday : P

  • 2:06 to 2:10 fav mistake. her dismount was pretti cute though. lol.

her mess up could be overlooked by someone like who who dosn't know a thing about gymnastics.

  • Some of those, I wonder did they train the fall? It's done so neatly. And others - is she still alive?

What skill is (attempted) at 0:13?

  • It was supposed to be a hecht

  • I thought it had to be, but that and some others look like they're saltos. Like the gymnast turns all the way upside down.

  • Am I correct???

    Chelle Stack :09

    Chusovitina :15

    Mitova 1:10

    Milosovici 1:25

Who is the Canadian girl 2:55 ?

    Podkopayeva 1:45

but everything else was corect :)

  • 13 is Chuso (2007 Worlds), 0:24 is Fan Ye in 2004, 0:44 was an attempted Def by Elena Piskun (1993 European Cup) and 0:52 is Khorkina

  • which competition was shayla worley's fall?

  • It was 2008 US Olympic Trials

  • @kennyboy619 2008 Trials

  • What even happened at 1:40? it looked like she had an invisible elastic band that pulled her back to the low bar haha

  • Why aren't these spotters catching these girls?

  • Some of them fall too hard and fast. If the spotter were to try and keep the girl from falling he might break her back. Others... weren't paying too much attention.

  • is that khorkina at 0:42? 1:24? 1:47? 1:55?2:39? 2:45? 3:02? 3:19? Last person?

  • 0:42 is Elena Piskun

  • Who was that at 1:20

  • It was Tatiana Ignatova of Russia at the 1992 Europeans

  • Thank you =)

  • who is at 0:38?

  • It is Svetlana Boginskaya at the 1987 Worlds

  • the spotters are there not to catch the person, but to alert someone quickly if the person is seriously hurt.

  • Who is at 0:40?

  • It is Elena Piskun at the 1993 European Cup

  • Is that Nastia at 1:30? What competition is that from?

  • It is Nastia, at the 2005 American Cup

  • umm, what is the point of a spotter if the spotter just always watching their athlete fall. just curious

  • no joke, like al fong

  • A spotter is there in case a gymnast is falling seriously. He is allowed to touch him/her after they have released the apparatus. The Ones I have seen here are behind the smaller bar to make sure the gymnast doesn't hit that bar and to prevent SERIOUS INJURY. He is allowed to catch them once they have fallen but not if they are still holding the bar. If he/she touches them while they are touching the bar it's a disqualification.

  • ouch for the last one lol alot of the girls forgot to tap!!! ahahhaaha

  • I love this song....and might I add, there is just nothing scarier than falling from bars.

  • OMG the first one...looks like she hit her coach as he feel down aswell????

  • you just gotta love how the coaches stand by and watch.

    :/

  • I'd like to see one where the girl on the bars kicks the spotter in the face during one of those flips and lays him out.

  • Who was the very last one? looked like it hurt!

  • It's Sarah Drovandi (AUS)... at the 98 Nationals I think :)

  • Great music choice!

    I loved this:)

  • who sing dis song

  • Duffy- steppingstone

  • @ghostshell30 THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!! love you!

  • All I have to say is: OUCH

ouch on the first one, I looked it up and she went back and did a perfect dismount wow!

And at 1:30 is that Nastia???? And who is it at 1:40?

  • 1:30 is indeed Nastia, and 1:40 is Verona Van Der Leur

  • What competition is Nastia's fall from?

  • It was the 2005 American Cup

  • Pretty awesome!!

Who is the gymnast at 0:28 y 0:40?

  • Thank you :)

At 0:28 its Svetlana Baitova, and at 0:40 its Elena Piskun

  • OMG at the first one!

  • i know! and wasn't the coach standing behind the bar there to PREVENT that from happening? but it was kinda funny she bounced right off the bar.

  • Especially since they train so hard and for so long, then one little mistake blows months of training.

  • Actually it blows years of training...

  • its funny watchin but when it happens to you its proper frustratin...

  • lmfao
