@ImpressiveBeauty This was two years ago...when it wasn't very advanced and everything was pretty much thrown around. I like to think I'm more creative with my display than yards where a group of expensive props are simply thrown out for a "wow" factor.
Thanks for appreciating the work that went into it.
@horrormovies88 Thanks! They work out pretty well, but put them out too early, and they lose all their leaves and snap in half... In 2010, I started switching to some "walls" in a few areas of the trail!
@horrormovies88 An extremely generous local farm provided them all--for free. The previous year we paid another farmer about $200 just for cornstalks! There are some nice people out there if you ask around...
You did all of this yourself? That's pretty awesome. Every year I participate in a local haunted trail. Gotta keep the halloween spirit alive, right? And thanks to people like you, it looks like it is thriving
Looks pretty good. I belong to a group of haunters that really comes up with some great ideas and affordable ways to made some great props. Check them out in google groups, look for "rocky-mt-gathering"
Thanks! I usually start putting it up around October 10th. Probably the most expensive part of the display is--buying all the candy! Our number of visitors goes up each year!

@evilportrait ya, walls would be more durable ecspecially for a haunt of your size. How much are the cornstalks though?
