we had a shubunkin spawn successfully with a jumbo goldfish last year and all the fry hatched, unfortunately we lost every single one as some form of fungus got into the tank we were keeping them in (we had to remove the eggs, which were laid in weed, from the pond as our koi kept eating them). they may spawn again this year. any tips for keeping our fry fit and healthy? please mail me back :)
Beautiful!

it think the water has chlorine... because the bubbles are sticking in the side of the glass...

@gamebuddy100 nah bubbles stick to the side because of temp change, because as the water gets warmer it can't hold as much dissolved gas.

Give them lots of hiding places, so they have easier time surviving.

Even though Shubies came from Japan,(shubunkin means "red brocade") these apperantley sound like they're from Bristol or bred in Bristol.

do they trim their tails in that shape?? I heard they do on certain fish. I have four I bought from aquabid
grettagrids 3 years ago
Of course not! No self-respecting aquarist would do that.
