but just for arguement sake- i believe that most of the global warming is caused by under ocean volcanos that leak toxic and harmfull gases and can boil the water so much that its killing the plant life that provide most of our oxygen we breathe. the ocean currents are warming because of this and its melting the icecaps. you only have to look at all the dieing reefs to see evidence of this.

ohh.. i see... for all those people saying global warming isnt true... and syaing its natruall.. well in a way your wrong and right.. it is natrual that the eaths climate changes through out thousands of years.. but it is UNnatrual for the carbon dioxide and all the other burning of the fossil fuel emmissions to be in the atmosphere..thus eating away at the ozone wich blocks most of the suns radiation. and the gasses cause a greenhouse effect. Glaciers all over the world are nearly all feeling the effects of global warming (this is why there is almost no ice left on Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa)- often leading to retreat, but sometimes speeding up their advance due to lubrication. jeez guys...you all have it stone wrong. co2 has zero effect on ozone. submarine volcanoes have been a constant for billions of years and are not warming the deep sea nor are they the cause of global warming. it takes 1000s of years for bottom water to be recycled to the surface anyway. reefs live in surface waters and are dying because of a number of factors, temperature shocks related to El Nino being among them.

SOMEWHERE in alaska?? come on. if you're going to show off what you did (although it was INCREDIBLY stupid, there are TONS of rock debris and ice chunks in that wave that could have KILLED YOU), at least give the town you were in some credit. since I doubt you forgot, for everyone else: that was in Cordova, Alaska and the glacier was Child's Glacier.
