Okay I have this piano and seems like you guys have some questions. I LOVE it it's the best digital I've ever played. My teacher owns 2 steinways in good condition, and when it comes to key weight, I feel the steinway keys feel a bit more cumbersome when it comes down to fast playing. So these keys might be just barely too light but you don't notice unless you play fast songs back to back on the diff. pianos. Also, the only thing I don't like about this piano is its limitations for dynamics.....
To the musician; this sound like "psalm 19, may the words of my mouth and the mediations of my heart" from the Vineyard. Am I correct? By the way, if so, the variations of the the song sound great.
oh,i wish i could play the piano like U...it seems so natural, as if u wouldn't even touch the instrument...it's surely years and years of practice...it's a beautiful piano and U played a lovely song...thank you.
Would be nice if someone would show how these digital pianos manage when playing something outside this demoish sus-sliding-chords. Sure it sounds smooth and you play well but there´s so much more to piano playing than just this one style that everyone seems to use when reviewing a piano. Come on, even Casio Privia rubbish pianos can do this :/ How about some classical perhaps?
@pmk378 I agree, you really need to hear someone play a classical piece to get a good feel for what the piano can do. This 'music' is just crap any cheap digital can do. Weak
The piano samples are excellent, in my opinion it's one of the best digital piano reproductions of an acoustic piano voice I've heard in the price range the CLP 240 sits in.
The key weighting is more than adequate for most aspiring pianists, though once fully competant I guess anyone would desire an acoustic.

I have the same one and it's amazing. But how did you record such high quality?
scandalfittmonger 2 years ago
I believe the quality comes from two midi-outs into a good soundcard into your computer with a program, probably from Yamaha.

I own a CLP 240 and is a very good product, however may be you'd prefer the Roland's sound
jefcitron 3 years ago
I've played a roland and the sound was exactly striking.
I'm still looking through yamaha's though.
