LOL! Well that's an interesting way to do this one. I always kept my tanks at the back until the last few turns, then I'd move the shamrock up and start mortaring their base to get everybody out of cover, then pick them off with a sniper. I just did manage to A rank it, but it took me awhile. Thanks for this video, I always enjoy seeing new ways to beat missions.
This stage SHOULD be done in any way that results in a victory, like every other stage. There's no need to place pointless criteria on the stage like "kill all enemies" or "use as few CP as possible" or even "do not abuse orders" unless you're purposely handicapping yourself.
@RockX3232 I mean I may sound militant and arrogant here, and yes you're right you can play this game anyway you like (that's the beauty of it), but what I'm saying is my method is just plain better. You watched my vid? (Lebowsk1 channel). The hard skirmish vid was part of a challenge, and the other guy beat me with some even crazier tactics, but yeah... not saying this guy shouldnt play the game, but this is a pretty dull Alicia rush, that's all it is.
I did it a different way. On turn one I used Mortar Strike on the base, then launched a smoke round in front of the Edelweiss and Shamrock. I passed my turn and the enemy danced around doing nothing.
Then on turn 2 a mortar on the base again then the Edelweiss to clear the left side of the main corridor. Put Awaken Potential on Alicia and she can run straight into the middle of the base. It only takes 2 attacks to kill that lancer and capture the base.
You can do this Skirmish battle with Caution, Defense boost and Antidote on Alicia in 1 turn

This is gay. You spam orders and rush the base without killing anything. Check out my vid for how this stage SHOUD be done.

@RockX3232 nah, don't buy that for a minute: it's weaksauce to leave loads of enemies standing at the end of a battle. Gay method is gay.
