@cojobo34 While we're correcting people...to say that the music is not his--when it is his voice, fingers, and guitar that are producing it--may be a false statement. And it is a cover of a hit song (but only classic if you consider 7 years ago classic)...

@danfiddle well the hook/chorus was actually WRITTEN by Bob Dylan more than 7 years ago--and without that, this dude wouldnt be covering it bc it would have never been heard.. Old Crow Medicine Show added lyrics/melodies for the verses 7 years ago. And Im sorry, but just because someone covers a song doesnt make it theirs.. not in a court of law, and not in reality--anyone can cover a song, but there is a BIG difference from actually writing it.. i think u may be delusional.

@cojobo34 I'm aware that Bob Dylan wrote the hook, however, it wasn't a song or "classic hit" until Old Crow finished/recorded it. I'm not arguing that the song itself is Cody's...legally or otherwise...but that the music you hear on this video is "his." When you say that he wouldn't have heard it if Bob Dylan didn't originally write the hook, you are correct; However, you must also consider that you wouldn't be hearing Cody's unique take if Cody had not played it. That makes it his.

@cojobo34 On a side note, this song would've been one out of maybe two or three covers in a Chicago Farmer set. If you are not familiar with his original material, I highly recommend checking it out.
