Thirdly, I don't see Pastor Jamal Bryant teaching doctrine or proliferating the doctrines of the bible like baptism in Jesus' name, foot washing, or the Eucharist when he is on TV. How transparent. He is so quick to bash a living legend, and prophet who has paved the way for many, yet the same power and unction of God that he claims to have, could not prevent him from his pitfalls as a Pastor. I think the doctrine of Inclusion is not 100% correct, but it at least gets it right that there is no hell, and that God will save all mankind. Where I think it falls short when compared to scripture is the notion that all mankind is saved NOW. All mankind must go through judgment before we are saved(Isa 26:9;1 Cor 3:13-15;1st Pet 4:12,17). This is the purpose of fire in scripture, to purge and purify
The greek word for fire is "pur," from whence we get our english words "purify", and "purge." The fires of "hell," which orthodox Christians mistakingly believe are strictly for purposes of torture, are nothing of the sort. God Himself is a consuming fire(Heb 12:29), and that consuming fire is what was spoken by the prophet Malachi in 3:1-3 that will refine and purify. So yes, Inclusion is far more accurate than orthodox Christianity that believes in "hell." But it seems to bypass judgment
@Ordained88 As for your 1st question, I don't think I can lay my personal feelings aside, so I'm not comfortable addressing it. I do think it's somewhat hypocritical that Jamaal Bryant is sitting in judgment of Pearson and is talking about how salvation is supposed to bring a change, when he himself has admitted to committing adultery and fathering a child with one of the members of his congregation.

Whether we agree or disagree w/ Mr. Pearson's ideology, I think that at a minimum, Christians should study what it is that they believe. Too many people follow leaders blindly, never checking the validity of what it is that's being taught. When a person cannot be taught new things, he or she is in a very dangerous place mentally. Bishop Carlton Pearson said he will be back to Jesus if we prayed in faith, truly we prayed in faith for him and we are still praying for him. I decree by the power in the name of Jesus that not only the heavens wil rejoice over bishop carlton, the earth will also rejoice with him too. We christians love you bishop carlton and we are not judgemental.

I support Mr. Pearson's view, something is missing in traditional doctrine, as much of it seems to create anxiety, hate, and seperates us, in the end times God knows this and for this, he said he would pour his spirit upon ALL flesh! That includes every faith, every "reject" and those who think they know everything and dont! All things are possible, he says, pray for the release of those in hell, if those in hell are doomed forever, then why is there another judgement for them? fort all?

This is foolishness, and the inclusion theory is just that a "theory" I pray that God does reveal his error because he is walking in the spirit of error,and so is the mass majority of the Church. We spend to much time trying to line God's word up with our lifestyle then aligning are lifestyles to God's word. NIV Matthew24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." I don't care what revelation this man has had if it conflicts with God's word it's demonic in origin.

Mr. Pearson's views may well have some substance- the interviewer is obviously enamored with him.The problem here is how can one objectively evaluate when presented such a one-sided view of the issues ? Several additional problems: 1 There's NO monolithic 'black church'
2 Mr. Pearson lacks any credibility w/ a majority of traditional congregations
3 Mr. Pearson is aggrieved. Protestants don't follow leaders, but doctrines;
4 ANY traditional church would similarly sanction Messr Long & Pearson

Thirdly, I don't see Pastor Jamal Bryant teaching doctrine or proliferating the doctrines of the bible like baptism in Jesus' name, foot washing, or the Eucharist when he is on TV. How transparent. He is so quick to bash a living legend, and prophet who has paved the way for many, yet the same power and unction of God that he claims to have, could not prevent him from his pitfalls as a Pastor. We are so quick to fight and embarrass our own in order to make ourselves look good in front of people

Continuing on: So to say that the doctrine is foolish, is to eliminate and discard over 5 centuries of early church history, books, treatises, and documents, from which these same so called scholars were taught from in their "seminaries". Very hypocritical. And also, we see that no Catholic Scholars have come against bishop Carlton Pearson, for their level of schooling and knowledge goes far beyond most "Protestant Schools of Theology." Their understanding of scriptures is a little higher.

The speed or readiness at which you can come against that which you do not understand shows the depth of ignorance and insecurity that lies on the inside of you. The early church fathers, who were schooled in the Alexandrian and Antiochian schools of interpretation of scriptures based off of Platonic and Aristotelian Philosophical thought, preached and taught universalism for 5 centuries people - and not one of the so called, scholars on this show can hold a nickel to any of the Early Fathers.

@7567266 No, I didnt comment about his indiscretions. Thats why I said we all have skeletons (referring to his fall from grace). I dont know anyone on this panel, I dont favor anyone; all I meant is that Pearson NEEDED prayer and Bryant was the one that took the lead to pray for him. My heart goes out for Pearson. It just makes me sad that he has added and also taken away from the Word. Hopefully Bryant has repented for whatever he may have done wrong...thankfully the Lord redeems.

STOP THE TAPE AT 4:59-5:02, When he said "I never had the response from non-Christians, that I have now, that I had when I was just preaching in the church among the saints" Big time contradiction!..How was it that so many people got saved, and healed and blind to see and miracles, if there weren't any non-Christians coming to his meetings back then. The Saints don't need to be saved...We're charged to go out and compel men to be saved by the gospel...meaning non-christians

I'm just coming to hear about him this year. I am praying for all of us and definitely would like to search the scriptures with you all to better understand the division that is causing so much hurt within the body.

I think the doctrine of Inclusion is not 100% correct, but it at least gets it right that there is no hell, and that God will save all mankind. Where I think it falls short when compared to scripture is the notion that all mankind is saved NOW. All mankind must go through judgment before we are saved(Isa 26:9;1 Cor 3:13-15;1st Pet 4:12,17). This is the purpose of fire in scripture, to purge and purify

The greek word for fire is "pur," from whence we get our english words "purify", and "purge." The fires of "hell," which orthodox Christians mistakingly believe are strictly for purposes of torture, are nothing of the sort. God Himself is a consuming fire(Heb 12:29), and that consuming fire is what was spoken by the prophet Malachi in 3:1-3 that will refine and purify. So yes, Inclusion is far more accurate than orthodox Christianity that believes in "hell." But it seems to bypass judgment

@Ordained88 As for your 1st question, I don't think I can lay my personal feelings aside, so I'm not comfortable addressing it. I do think it's somewhat hypocritical that Jamaal Bryant is sitting in judgment of Pearson and is talking about how salvation is supposed to bring a change, when he himself has admitted to committing adultery and fathering a child with one of the members of his congregation.

My heart aches right now. If everyone would really just sit back and watch and pray and really listen. Do you really think that God is sitting on His throne as the three of these gentlemen who believe that they all have been called in the name of Jesus in love, and is being used by God to pray this man back in what they consider His rightful place? There is much I can say here, but look at the laughter, the ohhhhhs like we what people do when a fight or sports are on.Is this the love of God?

Whether we agree or disagree w/ Mr. Pearson's ideology, I think that at a minimum, Christians should study what it is that they believe. Too many people follow leaders blindly, never checking the validity of what it is that's being taught. When a person cannot be taught new things, he or she is in a very dangerous place mentally. We should seek God's will for our lives, and we should learn how to trust God and not always lean on man's interpretations of God's will... Peace...

@chmorehe ...Are you quite mad. If he sinned, and I do not doubt that he did - he is afterall..a man. But if he sinned there is a written procedure in the scripture to remedy and renew him. There is absolutely no need for him to openly embrace the doctrine of devils due to his personal failures. That is total lunacy.

Anyway, JB was out of line because, as a fellow shepherd in the gospel, he should have reserved a prayer like that for a private audience with the Bishop, out of respect for his OFFICE. The other seasoned men of God did not do something like that. It was not the right setting. But Bryant knew he would impress ignorant sheep like you who are easily swayed by charisma, and put another notch in his sexy belt.

I labored right beside him and served under his ministry since its inception up to just a few years before he flew over the cuckoo's nest. So yes, I know him by the spirit, loved and respected his gifts and talents and honored him as a man of God. But when he parted with sound doctrine, that was my cue to hold him at spiritual arms length.

You may have been a member, or even a minister, but you never KNEW him. For had you known, him, you would have known that he did not start preaching this inclusion conviction when Charisma magazine misrepresented him in 2003. Further, unless the rules changed in the last 30 minutes, Youtube is a free site for a free people to roam freely at their own discretion. My reasons for visiting this or any other site is identical to the masses...for information, entertainment, curiosity. I make remarks like "doctrine of devils" because my spiritual foundation was laid by a theologian who taught me to boldly defend the gospel - that theologian was Carlton D. Pearson.

I grew up the same way as Carlton Pearson. I don't shun my past however everything that he speaks on I've believed since I was a child. This teaching has changed and improved my life and my spirit. I thank God for transforming Carlton Pearson

@vfieldsone I also thought about this in the word that it said "be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind". Transformation should not lead you to the same place you were in 30 year ago. His ways and thoughts are much higher than ours, which tells me that what was written in the word is simply on mans level... but we claim to know the ways and thoughts of God

I am overwhelmed at the female response to the defecation being spewed out of Bryant's mouth. He is one of those people that stops the body from disagreeing in love. We are seen as close minded because people like him will not listen and respond intellectually. Dr. Van Gyton is correct, we need to dialogue.

First of all, the Bible declares that we all have sinned and fallen short. Correct? So for starters, Jamal Bryant's short comings aren't in question. We all have them. I want to know why this Lexi person looks offended when the prayer goes forth. Maybe this isn't a Christian program.... Idk. I don't watch these overly publicized people for a reason.

Works with the faith in prayer, so instead of just praying give him some understanding... and unfortunately that did not happen at all on the panel. It's church as usual. Get high with no understanding. Here was a perfect time to help him in the word, but they did not. Very sad.

Church folk wanna keep playin church....been there done it, been on staff, recorded CD's, been on television and got the t-shirt and the "institution" of church is as hollow and empty as most of the pews are these days. I thought that what he did to Bishop Pearson was disrespectful. But I don't think that CP is as off the mark as people think. I don't follow the gospel of inclusion, but he does make some valid points.
