@KrzyUnit You have two different attacks that determine the damage you will deal. First is the bravery system that decides how much damage you will deal to your opponent. Bravery is the big numbers above the character's HP bar. Then there are HP attacks that reset your bravery to your default and the damage is based on your current bravery (1 means 1 damage, 100 means 100 damage). The bravery damage is determined by your attack power vs the opponent's defense.

bravery attacks take bravery from your opponents bravery.....

when you take all of your opponents bravery your get the stage bravery (the numbers in the middle bottom)

If both of you are lvl.100 then you are equally matched, which makes it easier than going arcade version. You wouldn't stand a chance without the limit core.

Anyone who has ever played Dissidia before should know that this is bad. Arcade mode is played when characters are at the same level. Plus, Cloud is banned for being an uber (cheap character) in tournaments. Sephiroth is not. Without the EX core, he would have lost. Indefinitely.

You see when ever u have the ex thingy full you know that you going to hit your opponent with your ex burst has soon has u let yourself get hit with a combo or something. I agree that ex revenge is annoy but, at least now u don't get to spam every time a ex burst has soon the ex gauge is full. The same thing applies to Chase, it was so slow that I never get hit. 012 fix all that broken stuff and replace it with ex block, ex revenge etc.
