I like every single one of each heroes themes. I cant see how anybody can not like them. Oh and btw I thought Order of Ecclesia was based exactly on the year 1800 (However, I could be Mistaken).

Dawn of Sorrow came out first, followed (in order) by Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia. Dawn of Sorrow, however, is a direct sequel to Aria of Sorrow, and Order of Ecclesia is way too hard for a beginning player. If you want to start with a Castlevania DS game, I'd recommend Portrait of Ruin, although it's the hardest to find.

First the glorias Portrait of Ruin featuring Jonathen Morris and Charlotte Aulin. Then the sequel to Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow, both featuring Soma Cruiz. Then last but not least, Order of Eccelsia, featuring the young warrior Shanoa! I hope that helped. I'm a bit new to Castlevania myself.Hope u have fun!
