  • This recording did a lot to sell the virtues of the Leslie Organ Speaker. Don Leslie and George did a lot of work on that Conn to make it sound like that.

  • This was always one of my favorite George Wright records when I was a kid. Too bad that it's not being re-mastered on CD. That Conn still sounds pretty good today.

  • This is the only G. W. record I've actually heard though I just came across 3 others and bought them at a thrift store last week. I'll have to post more by this guy because this record rocks.

  • Can't believe it! I just stumbled onto this disc re-mastered on iTunes! A blast from the past!

  • Nice!

  • @recordoobscura you got THAT Right ---"George Wright Encores" , "More George Wright" and others I would love to get hold of

  • Wow, this guy could really play! I have this album, but it is not in as good shape as this one. I wish Banda would re release this HIFI Records disc on CD. Thanks for posting.

  • @2n918 I could not agree more--when I was a little girl, a friend of my mom & dad's built us a magnificent HI FI speaker--it measured 4 ft across and 5 ft high--that thing rocked several large homes we had over the years--I cut my musical teeth on this man's incomparable pipe organ genius--he still thrills me to this day--still looking for more of the LP titles we did have at one time that are now available on CD format
