I said that the only thing that I feared was the day that the fight would happen would be a bad day for the world....Thank god that fight never happened....we both agreed...and enjoyed our beer.

Only 45 Helicopters were shot down due to enemy fire. The reason being, Iraq had SAM's and Stinger missiles. Afghanistan didn't until the end of the war.

@vadim963 Actually the USMC has the longest enlisted recruit training in the world. which is nowhere near 2-3 years. You do know Russia is not at war. therefore until Russia needs to enter a war, the soldiers keep training. Once US Marines finish standard recruit training, they are given a choice, graduate and fight the war or join go into Marine Corps special ops graduate that training and then fight the war.

No, they won't. The US military uses UAV technology to scout the area ahead. Eiether you get bomber or bombarded, your position will fall with minimal loss of life on my side, it is modernized blitzkrieg tactics :D
I have three ways of scouting an area Scoutrussp7. Eiether I send a scout, A UAV (Which is the size of my arm and of which can fly up to 4000 feet) or I could simply take a picture of the area with a satellite. All proven to work ;)
And I can guarantee you the enemy will ben in an equal position :) There are plenty of ays of countering an enemy controled section, And now, with the F-22 and F-35 I can drop a precision guided munition right where I at it at 50,000 feet. Only 45 Helicopters were shot down due to enemy fire. The reason being, Iraq had SAM's and Stinger missiles. Afghanistan didn't until the end of the war.

I do not mean to discredit you but the USMC is a world fighting force to be feared. your Marines are good no dout but US.Marines are better disaplined and no one talks back to an officer most are beaten the shit out of for that. and their training is more sycalogical than any other training in the world. marching and drill is a way to install disapline no one marches better than the Marines or has a better victory history than anyone. and it has its own navy air and ground units

@vadim963 Actually the USMC has the longest enlisted recruit training in the world. which is nowhere near 2-3 years. You do know Russia is not at war. therefore until Russia needs to enter a war, the soldiers keep training. Once US Marines finish standard recruit training, they are given a choice, graduate and fight the war or join go into Marine Corps special ops graduate that training and then fight the war.

Do not berate my military, because simply, you would lose quite quickly to them in a conventinal war.

No, they won't. The US military uses UAV technology to scout the area ahead. Eiether you get bomber or bombarded, your position will fall with minimal loss of life on my side, it is modernized blitzkrieg tactics :D

I have three ways of scouting an area Scoutrussp7. Eiether I send a scout, A UAV (Which is the size of my arm and of which can fly up to 4000 feet) or I could simply take a picture of the area with a satellite. All proven to work ;)

And I can guarantee you the enemy will ben in an equal position :) There are plenty of ays of countering an enemy controled section, And now, with the F-22 and F-35 I can drop a precision guided munition right where I at it at 50,000 feet. The cost of maintaining old F-16 and F-15's outweighs the price of production. In the long run, it replaces everything, and you have to remember that this aircraft will be in service for another 50+ years, so, you tell me if we get bang for our buck? And, the PAK FA is a prototype, it will not enter service until 2013, and full introduction will be in 2017. Don't make me pull up numbers to prove my country's better, I haven't lost a fight yet ;)

... with them, there are storied of pilots going up in MiG 25 when the Ejection seat was undergoing repairs, they just gave him an ordinary chair to sit on. no way in hell would an American pilot be able to fly without an ejection seat. also if you take apart MiG-29s you may find things like hammers in the wings, and they can still fly perfectly, and you know what else? they arent made with the most exencive metals so they are cheaper. and if you havent noticed they are a very maneuverable plane

Right, but the US has gone up against Mig-25 Foxbats and Mig-29A and Mig-29S, K M (Monkey model.) Without loss, we hadn't lost a single aircraft to Serbian and Iraqi Migs. In all, I would have to say only a quarter of it goes to the aircraft itself, it's the pilot, his skill and his experiences. We must all concede that American pilots have seen more combat and recieve more training on a weekly basis than Russia.

The Russian air force ordered memory foam from NASA because their pilots were uncomfortable in the aircraft. US fighters like the F-15, F-16, F-35 and F-22 have the seat at a near obtuse angle to allow more comfortable controls when pulling G's. Every aspect about those aircraft are to dogfight.

Therefore, we designed every aspect of the F-35 OURSELVES. You forget that the F-35B has a different engine than the F-35A and C models. The F-35B is essentially built to be an export design. So you tell me, who has the odds on their side?
