Both of them use their Hoshi no Kaabii artwork, it's really not uncommon for the anime and the game to collide... Kirby's Air Ride used Strong Star Warrior.

This is by far my favorite mix of King Dedede's theme. A close second is perhaps the Smash Bros Brawl one, yeah.

Nightmare in Dreamland was my favorite Kirby game after Crystal Shards.
