@Gauti167 Defy Mini is designed for those new to smartphones, or needing a lower cost smartphone, or a secondary knockabout smartphone. As such it does have a smaller screen and lower processing power than DEFY, but does feature a front facing camera and a large battery for longer everyday performance. @boredperson81: There were two different hardware modules for the cameras in the Defy, Bayer or SOC. Bayer is capable of better pictures and 720P video. I've got a Bayer version Defy and I'm more than happy with the pictures and video. :)

Okay DEFY MINI will be a step up from FLIPOUT with improved operating system, a slightly faster processor and bigger screen, front facing camera etc. So if you want something that moves the experience on from what you have been used to, then it will certainly suit your needs.

@JackanoryJr The mini does have a front facing camera which is an advantage over DEFY+. It also will have a better battery performance (large battery but smaller processor and screen = longer battery life). In every other way DEFY+ is a superior phone (better processor, bigger screen, better rear camera etc). Hope this helps.

All I see is people complaining about the 3mp camera. mega pixels dont mean everything when it comes to picture quality. The lens is what makes the biggest difference. 3 mp is actually all you need with a high quality lens.

a better marketing solution would have been to copy or better the specs of the samsung galaxy s2 and then add these life proof things along. that way, it doesnt feel like a downgrade. this is what samsung has been doing, continiously updating their specs to stay ahead of the game, and that is why they remain one of the top brands out there.
