This PC gets VERY HOT over 90 degrees. I can not see it last for many years to come with such high temperatures. No one talks about it but try to have your pc on for more than 2 hours, then place your hand on it and you'll see.

Everything looks good (yes a pc without a stupid cd tray) except the speakers still looks better than an imac and runs a better os by default. Its so annoying when people say vista sucks when microsoft has pretty much fixed all the problems. It only sucked on launch.

I like the XPS One, though the graphics card is in question. It's not really a copy of the iMac, otherwise all all in ones are a copy of the iMac. I, personally, like it better. Even though i am impartial in the Mac vs PC battle. I think it was an ok idea to have only one screen size, but Dell never usually does that.

It's also funny that the lady asking questions says "we" occasionally It's like saying "How did I drink that water." It seems a little weird.

Yeah different sized screens would be great. Thats one of the things thats turning me off this computer is the weight and a smaller screen might help that, plus I don't need alot of these features. I love the design though.

I believe you are correct. From what I've read, only the memory is easily accessible. It's possible to swap out the hard drive, but is difficult and will void your warranty.

How is it a copy? That's like saying that all computer towers with an attached monitor are a copy of the Mac Pro. Is it inspired from the iMac? Yes. But it's not a copy. A copy would imply it's exactly the same. This is an inspired product that has arguably better hardware.

Frankly, products like the XPS One are good because it forces Apple to remain competitive. Competition brings down prices as well as improves products. Everyone wins.

It's cool because most of the games I play online. Mac doens't support. I say iMac sexy lokkin but Xps wins because of the touch buttonds and the Big side speakers on the screen. Build your own computer is a niche market. This machine is set to be sold in the broader market. While your argument is true, it is not an option for a vast majority of home computer market. I'm sure you realize most people wants to buy it from a store and just turn it on and start using it. That's what Dell is aiming at. Given the weakness of all-in-one market on PC side, it made sense for them to copy Apple.

But you do have to give dell credit. They "innovate" the pc side of the market. Their products are definitely more bold than you'd find from hp or gateway. Although it is true, we've had "all-in-ones" for more than 7 years.

You must be an apple fanboy. You and i both know that this has more features than the iMac. For one, it plays blu ray, which the sorry iMac doesn't do. The keyboard has a touch pad and volume controlls, which the iMac doesn't. It has touch controlls and a motion sensor, which the iMac doesn't. And it runs on windows which is so much better than OS X. So it's not a copy of the iMac retard. The iMac is crap compared to this. So screw you.

I've switched to mac 3 weeks now and truthfully macs are more compatible than pc's. All new devices(2yrs od) work with macs (and yes some older devices may nt work with macs)

make sure you check out the iMac first. My 24" iMac with a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 320gig 7200rpm hard drive, and 4 gigs of RAM cost less than this thing and its running Windows for Gods sake! Leopard is years ahead of VIsta to be conservative. This is coming from someone who used to build PC's.

Im sorry. It does not look as good as an iMac and it still runs Windows. They even try to throw in the "fun" factor. Wrestling with Windows is anything but fun. Sad. It costs $300 more than the comparable iMac and has an inferior operating system. That extra gig of RAM is irrelevant because Vista is a giant RAM hog. You can put in as much RAM as you want and it still wont run like OS X Leopard on 1 gig.

On top of that, she said "enjoy working on your Excel spreadsheets." I rest my case.

Actually, Windows (any 32bit version) cannot address more than 4GB RAM. That's the limit of 32bit. So when running 32bit Windows app even in 64bit Windows, you'll never be able to address more than 4GB (actually less, since Windows overhead will take a portion of that 4GB).
