  • 2:00 slight of hand pro :)

  • I GOTTA HAVE ONE!!!

  • It's like "you got a lite?" "no but i have this acr". "that works too". hahaha bad assss.

  • I fucking love this weapon.

  • this gun seems relatiely quiet is it just the sound capture from the vid camera or is it really quiet

by the way the gun cmes out in civilian version in late o9 early 010 and sells for around 1200$

  • That's what Bushmaster is saying....but they've had delays before...

Plus the market hype will boost the price, just like the SCAR is now.

  • @MariusInk

around the same price as a bare bones AR, which makes me wonder, why would you ever want an ar over an acr right? kick ass shit and bushmaster (the company who took over the masada from magpul [and renamed it the acr]) is only a 30 min drive from where i live, i cant wait to get one

  • that cig lighting part is badass

  • come on acr, im waiting for you! military is thinking of adopting this over all the other rifles. goodbye hk416.

  • What the crap??!!? 0:06 - 0:16 You can't hold an assault rifle by the magazine and shoot it! He gets paid to do that? Ok... ok... maybe this is just some super gun that doesn't abide by the rules of every other assault rifle. Seriously though... someone explain to me how I'm wrong because that makes no sense.

  • For the 5th time in this discussion, he was ATTEMPTING to get the weapon to malfunction by putting downward/sideways pressure on the magazine.

    Its a standard test...

  • Ok... so was the rest of this just shooting? Or were there other tests that I am missing? Just out of curiosity.

  • The rest of the shooting was trying to meet the 2k round count in 2 days that Drake wanted to get done..

Drake was doing a few other tests as well before i started taping..this was a small clip.

  • I see. Thank you for explaining everything. Looks like one heck of a job. haha

  • that gun is amazing damn it looks like it has almost no recoil to it

  • can it shoot faster than that?

  • @omgwtfbbqpwn1 Yes.

  • yes this is semi

  • yes that was semi auto

  • lol fuck yeah shootin dirt

  • beautiful weapon

  • wow it's so fucked up how you guys like everything i do haha. the new masada rifle, down, and camel cigarettes. how is the masada? is it a good gun? recoil?

  • adaptive combat rifle = ACR

  • ACR rules!!!!!!!

  • Knock off the bullshit.

  • G36 is flimsy. The 416 is just an expensive piston AR, better made can be found for cheaper in the US. There are better 308 options than the 417. H&K is an irrelevant company stuck in the 1980s.

    watch?v=RGgVfnA-2aA

  • @DrPeterVenkman same here, but dont you think that all these M4 replacement rifles look a hell of alot like the G36, why dont we just use that

  • the ACR looks nothing like the G36. the M4 is a better rifle than the G36.

  • @kaiserpanda dude the whole front looks like a G36, without the carrying handle, and the stock looks just like the scar

  • it really doesn't unless you're just glancing at it. those are the old handguards, too. so if I shoehorn a civic bumper on my acura do I get to call it a civic?

  • How come they turn there rifles over when they run out of ammo, to see if the chambers empty?

  • To confirm it is indeed an empty mag. (The most likely is it is indeed an empty mag) It's possible it could be a malfunction. If so, the proper procedure would be executed.

  • smoking kills

  • Man, I want their job.

  • those guys are black water i think realy just marcinares

  • they're from magpul, blackwater is just a security company in a sense, that happens to get HUGE government contracts

  • o i thought i saw the blak water emblem a their tshirts

  • I liked that you lit your cigarettes with the heated barrel.

  • wtf the video won't play?!!?!?

  • must have been my crappy connection

  • that truck was sitting on 35's

  • why he dress like a guy from cod 4????//

  • im gay

  • thumb down to everybody :)

  • lol the shooter at 0:42 slams a bolt catch, left hand, that isnt there!

  • LOL, you're right. It's that muscle memory from running AR-15 all the time! I would probably do the same thing. I wonder why you got so manyu thumbs down! It's funny he did that. You aren't wrong.

  • there must be some fanboy using a downrating malware, believe me ive seen that done before.

specially on videos where there is and issue about US and russian military technology.

dont worry, we live in the real world.

  • the acr can fire 5.56 and 7.62 rounds

  • whats the song?

  • the fuckin gas cylinder get hot enough to light a cig??

  • That was the barrel that they lit it off... and yes, it gets quite hot.

  • damn thats crazy

  • it's 5.56 all right, all curved pmags are 5.56mm

  • yeah it is, the 7.62 version of this gun is called the masoud (hope i spelled that right) and is still on the prototype level because no major company (bushmaster/remington) picked it up like the ACR/masada

  • 0:40 Thought it was an M4 for a second.

  • Is this in 556 or 7.62???

  • im 90% sure the acr fires 7.62 rounds

  • Depends on what it's chambered for. At 0:21 that looks like Magpul's 5.56 mag though.

  • can be converted in like 30 seconds to chamber a diff cal. try to look up the future weapons vids they show it.

  • wow...what happened to all the comments?

  • anyways.... I love this rifle.....

  • indeed 1:28 is manly, but it would be all the more manly done from a browning m2 :D

  • why is there so many negative comments?

  • got a buddy in 1st Cav who loves his SCAR-L.

that Burris micro-dot looks puny, but if it works, i still like Aimpoing Comp M2s

  • The second that shot must be really used to the AR ^_^

  • so thats the new acr looks just like a fn scar. so i cant decide between getting one of these or a sig 556.

  • 1:28 is the manliest thing ive ever seen

  • sweet

  • AWESOME xD

    though, I've heard it is'nt as durable as a G36 or SCAR... or a HK416 "/

but still, hotest gun ever xD

  • Dudes that is totally reckless and with out regard for yours and other range users safety and long term well being.

you know what im talking about.......... Stop Smoking! So you can shoot longer...LOL

Man the pink bunny of death rocks!

  • its not that loud of a rifle

  • Fantastic gun, i think is the prettiest of all modern weapons

  • Looks like it's featherlight on the trigger. As any gun should be. :D

  • why the hell was the first guy holding the magazine when there's a foregrip on it? idiot

  • He is attempting to get the rifle to malfunction by jerking the magazine to create a misfeed.

    Common test to perform..

  • acr is ausome

  • wooo DOWN

  • bad ass although the cigarette lighting was gay.

    gotta love magpul.

  • wtf is with these thumbs down?!

    ACR is awesome

  • Sick rifle. Low recoil, accurate, compact.

Love the idea that it can use 5.56, 6.5, 6.8 and 7.62x39mm (ak47 round). Maybe even 9mm.

With a name like Bushmaster ACR. Sick.

  • They are trying to down play the fact that this firearm is possibly the best rifle soon to hit the market.

  • ..soon to be forgotten :). Why buying this, when you can get german guns.

  • Americans should buy American firearms.

For every German firearm platform their is an American firearm platform out the there that is equal or better.

  • Why is there tumbs down on every freakin comment?

  • Hahaha I'd like to know too lol

  • Ive never seen a video on youtube with all the comments on thumbs down

  • thats because its awesome

  • awesome weapon system. i want some trigger time on one!

  • how much does the weapon weigh ?

  • 3kg.

  • It's most likely a firearm company's workers that are competing with Remington for the government contract that's giving everyone thumbs down.

We all know that this rifle is the best . When it hits the market it will do just fine.

  • ya a lot of money is being spent on this

  • Probally, Robinson Arms is it our fault they are too stupid to give SOCOM blank firing adapters?

  • the rifle looks kinda chunky...I mean it could be light but it still looks chunky...

  • Doesn't look that chunky to me. It's probably the hand guard that makes it look that way.

  • why do people dress in full tactical gear just to shoot at the range. LOL!

  • Was this done after shooting "The Art of the Tactical Carbine Vol.2" ? The ACR Cig. lighter! Too funny!

  • is there an civilian model for this rifle? or is that it?

  • Bushmaster is the Civilian Model, Remington is the military variant.

  • Look at 0:39, he thinks he's firing an M4 and was about to tap it. I guess the ACR really feels like one.

  • ya it does

  • Lol wtf, why did my message get thumbed down ? Is that a new fucking fad on youtube ?

  • The firerate seems a bit low.

  • Well, it is a semi- automatic version... lol

  • Ahh.

  • what a fucking peice of shit i want thumbs down

  • Hey John!

  • What the hell....

  • Its the new XM8, looks good, but more than likely it will be rejected.

  • dude what is this song its got a couple of good riffs and i want one of thede guns

  • That rifle is a piece of shit....Gimme thumbs down too !

  • whats with all the thumbs down?

  • Please someone explain me the working mechanism of this gun! I just can't understand what's happening at 0:30. For me it looks as if the operator isn't pulling the trigger but pushing the bolt catch.

  • mmm hes either using his middle finger or hes doin a slow fuck bump lol im sure hes using middle finger nagyiman

  • Damn I didn't get it...thanx Jay. I have never seen anyone shooting an AK-63 in this way for exaple....

  • yeah it caught me on offguard too =(

  • want to see how this compares to the HK416

  • It's lighter, it can fire different rounds with the swap of a barrel, and has ambidextrous ergonomics. It's also cheaper, a 416 will run you 5 grand. ACR is marketed for $1500. Not bad considering you basically get 3 different guns in one, since of the different calibers. The only advantage the 416 has is the fact it works with existing M4/16/AR-15 lowers.

  • nm, should have searched the comments first...

  • is he pulling up and down on the mag on the first test? if so what is the purpose of this?

  • The purpose is to see if the magazine will still feed at an angle. If you're resting your weapon on its magazine during a firefight, and it doesn't feed, you've got a problem.

  • lol thumbs down

  • where can u get one and are there classes in pennsylvania

  • What is the aimpoint mounted on?

  • The mini aimpoint is mounted on the 1913 rail...the block looking mount below it comes as part of the kit.

  • how much does the rifle weigh loaded and all the stuff on it ?

  • what type of optic is that on the weapon ?

  • aimpoint micro dot T1

  • Wow, why is every comment here so un-intelligent and miss informed. Regardless, the Magpul ACR aswell as the H&K 416 are quickly shaping up to be my two new favorite assault rifles. In terms of submachine guns, however, I still love the H&K MP5

  • From a guy with Prince of Persia videos, I'm going to have to say you've never shot either in your life.

  • it doesnt seem to keep the bolt open once the last round is fired. that was one of the great advantages of the M16/M4 series. I think the SCAR has a bolt catch that keeps it open whn reloading

  • Willis,

The bolt holds open when the magazine is expended. Its hard to tell in the video.

  • can you not hit a target

  • You cannot hear the steel ding in the background?

  • omg sooooo kewl!!!!

    they lite ciggarets wiht it!

  • wonderful look :) i like the way it fires. maybe i will have on in my hands soon enough :)

  • Is that a semi-automatic assault rifle?

  • the semi verion will be made by bushmaster and the full auto will be made by rem. and the semi auto version will be sold to the civilian market.

  • No such thing exists.

  • what a sweet fucking gun

  • is there going to be a civilian version of this rifle?

  • yes, bushmaster plans to release it to the commerical market sometime in 2010, planned price is somewhere in the $1500 area

  • I'm pretty sure there will be.

  • it looks like G36 mixed with SCAR and m4

  • the only problem is these will sell for $2000-$3000 and the M4 costs the military $500

  • When almost any product(even military firearms) are sold in large amounts the price per unit will drop. In other words if the US military (& then hopeful other outside intersts & goverments) buy the ACR in bulk cost per weapon to the manufature will drop becuase they wil then be able to buy materials in bulk(costing less) hire more labor to get the job done with more ease(which sounds like it would bring up cost but...)..etc,etc,etc,.....Check out the story of why the B2

  • ..lol..hit the comment button b4 I was ready & did a spell & grammer check......anyway...the B2 bomber would have cost significantly less per unit if the government had gone ahead w/the origanl purchase order...look it up..it realy is some interesting reading.

  • what your kidding right? 500$ i think your estimates are a little low.

  • yep, you're right it is $586.

  • big toys for big boys huh? what about paying food and education for those who cannot afford it instead of playing? fight diseases and troubles, not ppl...

  • I already own a business and pay taxes, tell the losers on welfare to get a job. No one is hungry in america, most are fat.

  • of course, i meant africans

  • fuck u bitch bet u want say shit in our face thats the thing on here yall talk alot of shit but if we was all face to face u wouldnt have shit to say i bet yall feel like big men talkin shit on youtube

  • that looks similar to the FN SCAR in my opinion

  • There are similarities in style,no doubt there. Internally ,however, the are two different weapons(though both use pistons). Frankly...I hate to be one of those "BUY AMERICAN" folks...but if the US Military choses a replacement for the venerable M-16 series....I HOPE they choose American & go w/the Magpul ACR line.

  • yea didn't they replace the standard military issue rifle from the m-16 to the m4?

  • This was ans. already, but yes..in a way the M4 did replace the A2 model in the US Army for the most part. The idea is that most gunfights happen at closer distances then once thought. They rolling fields & hills of Europe & the cold war aren't the concern any longer but MOUT situations(military operations in urban terrian). Short distance shooting around or under 300 meters. Also the shorter barrle works better there. The Marines have hung on to the longer barrle w/the A4 version of the M16.

  • I definitely agree. The ACR should at least be given something along the line of bonus points for being American when/if they start testing for a replacement. As long as its nearly as good as the SCAR,416, etc the DOD should keep the manufacture "in house", if you will.

  • Then let us hope they also seek an in house replacement for the M9..aswell as the amazing amount of other handguns(Sigs,Glocks,H&Ks) that the miltary & other Gov. agencys have also adopted. Just aswell..so far so good..the ACR models are more then holding their own aginst the compatition. Truth is...internaly ..they are all preety simaler in contant & function.

  • It's vaporware, CG, air soft, etc., there is no such gun......... Seriously when will the ACR be released to the U.S. shooting public?

  • Read the press release "The ACR is being redesigned to be a superior offering to compete for the next generation US Army infantry carbine and subcompact weapon requirement and will be available to select customers in 2009." They also go on to state that it will be available in greater numbers (10s of thosuands) in 2010. Bitch and moan about not having a gun, but if they put one out that wasn't 100% you'd be bitching about how you were screwed over.

  • Nice Song!!!!! Bury me in Smoke. Awsome ACR

  • It wasn't a select fire version of the ACR...

  • was they trying to get it to misfeed just via single shot/repitition because its much easier to make a weapon misfeed by firing in small bursts or full auto

  • the charging handle should go on the opposite side of the ejection port, that would be kewl, just an opinion.

  • It would interfere with some of the optics out there.

  • i was thinking of an FN FAL type charging handle, it would be much more awesome for lefties

u put it lover, it wouldnt interfere

  • the masada (ACR) is ambidextrous with all of it's controls except for the ejection port

  • it doesnt show in this vid though...

  • I see some Chris Costa trained people (mag changes) .

  • Thats exactly what Drake was trying to do actually. He was trying to induce a malfunction by putting downward/sideward pressure on the magazine well hopefully to get it to misfeed..

  • Not trying to sound critical here, but was the rifle designed to be held by the magazine, as the first shooter did at 0:06? We were warned that holding your M16/M4's magazine may cause feeding problems.

  • it looks like a mix of a g36 and a scar^^

  • Looks like fun to pump rounds with this one

  • hes using the same admin reload technique Costa teaches in Magpul Dynamics DVD

  • I've seen the same video with AK's and gas piston AR's. Even many normal ARs.

  • I can't wait for these to come out! Finally a weapon with logical controls, no more stupid AR T-handle or reaching around to the wrong side of an AK to work the charging handle.

  • CountStrangulaX has post the best comment ever on all of youtubes gun videos....

  • Have you ever seen the 3 gun matches? Those guys handle AR's just fine. Fast and fine. I can do really quick reloads and don't mind where the charging handle is. The only time I ever use the T handle is for the first charge of the day since mind doesn't jam.

  • Three gun matches are games. Games mean jack shit when your life in on the line.

  • I fired 3000 rounds in my Colt AR15A2 20" in 1999 in two days without cleaning and it did not jam. I have seen tons of videos of normal AR's and even read guns and ammo mag where they did a 3000 round torture test without a jam on a normal AR15. I just use good mags and federal ammo. During my test I did place the rifle in a mud puddle for 30 minutes. I can handle my AR very well since its all I really owned for 15 years. I did buy a SIG 556 the other day.

  • But you were talking about the control setup and how you think this is how every rifle should be. Many of us like the setup the way it is since its how we have been shooting like that for many years and we can shoot and reload fast with normal AR's, like in combat or in the matches. Next thing you know you will tell us you're a Navy Seal.

  • I'm sure you can use your AR well as can many people. But you have had to learn to overcome its design flaws. I've had a busmaster for years and really like it but when it comes to certain things, reloading from the offhand side or clearing a double feed the controls are working against you. Full ambi controls make much more sense, especially considering that quite a few shooters are wrong handed.

  • the smoking is a nice touch
