seriously, there was some aggro outside the stadium because of the inadequate ground capacity, ticketing and organization. 100s of fans bought forged tickets and security wouldnt let them in. there were a few who got in with the forged tickets so fans with genuine tickets couldnt get in either, but i dont see how that's LFCs fault.

1. SYP hid the CCTV footage of the day for ten years.
2. Every senior officer on the day was pensioned off.
3. The Taylor report exonerated the Liverpool fans of any culpability
4. The Police refused to allow the ambulance staff to assist for over 30 minutes and at 3pm said no ambulances were required.

9. The Access tunnel was closed in 1988, in 1989 the police left it open.

TRUTH: The "drunken, ticketless fans" lie has been discredited. Sections 200-202 of the Taylor inquiry dealt with this and H&S estimates , through combined turnstile analysis and reviewing video footage of the opening of turnstiles and Gate C make it clear that it was no significant issue.

seriously, there was some aggro outside the stadium because of the inadequate ground capacity, ticketing and organization. 100s of fans bought forged tickets and security wouldnt let them in. there were a few who got in with the forged tickets so fans with genuine tickets couldnt get in either, but i dont see how that's LFCs fault.

officially there were 63,800 tickets on sale, not 75,000. that was reported in the media if u can read. 16,000 went to each club and only 11,000 were allocated to liverpool fans.
thats a disgustingly low number for a CL final so no wonder fans were desperate to get a ticket.

in one case the SYP and authorities covered up criminal negligence, and with the indirect help of the Scum newspaper, slandered a whole city.
in the other, the belgian authorities prosecuted police chief Johan Mathieu and found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter along with the LFC fans who charged.
in both cases the UK media blamed LFC and now we're "always blaming someone else"
