Its ALL GOOD!!!! - this whole Valor / Rozz Crap is so stupid...both geniuses in their own right. Alot of those Batcavers, Deathrockers , and Goths of the 70+s and 80's all bleached their hairs blonde and wore fringe after they figured out that the CULT were not deathrock....stupid...anyway, its really about the words. Although Rozz was a very talented chap, this is my opinion, too. Valor is a musical and conceptual genius! The militant Rozz "fans" seem to forget that he's all over "Ashes", one of their favourite albums, and that Rozz would have opted for the name Pompeii 99 or Daucus Korota from 1983 onwards if it hadn't been for Valor and Yann Farcey.

@jazminekill Rubbish. And, why insult Valor with homophobic language when Rozz was bisexual? Moreover, the criticism that "it's all metal" is ridiculous. Valor plays everything from classical to pop, from punk to electronic, from metal to goth. I, for one, am glad they are not just "death rock". A friend of mine, who'd never heard CD before, recently remarked that they're the most diverse band she's come across. Boundaries are for the narrow-minded. Long live Valor and his ground-breaking art!

This used to be a legendary deathrock/gothic band. Once Rozz died everything changed though. And still it wasn't that bad, but no they aren't even deathrock anymore... more like heavy metal... gah. RIP Rozz. Fuck Valor for ruining this band.

Rozz's whole game of coming back in the 90s and saying "wait, I left the band after Catastrophe Ballet, but no, despite several good albums by Valor, I AM THE REAL Christian Death" was pathetic, as was his creative output at this time. rozz's lyrics were not hokey, they were just as poetic as valor's it was the music that that valor was producing back then that grabbed me. rozz's music was great too, take a song like will o the whip totally different sound in bass, drums & guitars never heard back then. rozz's sound always kinda lived in the shadow of bauhaus sad to say & sounded awful live. actually the only good live album i can remember with rozz was the decomposition of violets & that was with the help of valor.

roz & valor both had a great & unique sounds in 80's & early 90's. speacialy valor's early stuff. u can not deny ashes or atrocities two of the most powerful, well defined & unique goth rock albums of all time & do i dare say better then only theatre of pain... yes. but valor truly sucks now, ever since pornographic messiah they have went down hill. valor's pathetic attempt to be hardcore has brought the band to shame. christian death will never b the same.
