What caliber were you using? I have never seen even a gutshot dog moving after the impact with my little .204. Did you guys not have a fresh zero or something, quite a few short range misses?
was it a .207? same size (.177) as a bb. I dont remember. We only found the gut shot dead(75yds). I think all the others were misses, or winged cause they returned into the holes. most of these were 75-125 yards, thats why the digital zoom on the camera looks fuzzy.
17 cal. probably a 17 hmr or mach 2. thats a nice varmint round, but you do definitely have to get a good shot or they will crawl back in the hole. I have killed several with a .22 wmr out to 200 yds. but have had quite a few crawl away also. I like the .204 you could hit their eyelashes and still kill them on the spot it seems. look forward to more vids.
