Victory records has never been that underground, but all the people calling ADTR mainstream don't know mainstream. And if they were it wouldn't matter because they're not sellouts. They've put in their due diligence over the last 7 years touring often over 300 days a year. And their music only continues to get better. 90% of ADTR fans are those who have either seen one of their songs on a mainstream television music channel, or seen the huge advertisement campaigns put out by their record companies.

I bet only about 10% of the people who still listen to ADTR are those who have listened to them and supported them all the way. I've got all their albums, including their first EP, and saw them live last year, before Homesick came out.
