Worst is xfire in my opinion- it is basicly only good for chat!!! :)!! Fraps laggs A LOT when your playing a game, but it is not as bad as xfire when you play a game!!! :)! I found it very useful and smooth for most games, some better then others.

HD Video Looks great and its free. Encoder is great, scaled my 3GB video to 80mb. No quality loss.

Well, i disagree abaut xfire, its the best choice for games, were can record demos... But for ingame recording is old wegame. its all abaut rendering settings in SV. in my channel are 2 videos, were i tested 2 different rendering settings, plus, mw2 was recorded with wegame, and CS was recorded with xfire.

aaand, i couldnt find how to make sound in wegame (i really tryed EVERY damn thing), but with xfire - no problem. So xfire is my choice.

I personally prefer ZDSoft.

No in-game lag at all and if you know how to configure it, you can get small sizes, HD quality, and no video/in-game lag.

Remember, this is a PERSONAL opinion.

Xfire is the best, you can adjust it for lower qual but smaller size or great qual and decent size. it also has a compresser, which is very good. i make videos from 1 GB to 5MB

If you take the gameplay videos for fraps and xfire and switch them, that's what it's like on my computer. I lag with fraps, but not xfire. And I haven't tried wegame.

By the way, xfire isn't that complicated. It has a video tab labeled, and although it may look a little cluttered, the options are pretty straightforward.

wegame is great, seriously -great- for low quality. Possibly the best. But FRAPS continually gives me better results at true HD files.

xfire's -only- the right choice for instant-upload videos for the xfire site. It's fantastic for little clips for that purpose, but that's it.

All-in all this guy got it right. WeGame is your choice if your PC is a bit shoddy, FRAPS if it's not.

Fraps doesn't lag at all for me. Try setting your fps to 100 and do half size i think.

I have an issue. When I want to record, if game is in full screen it records black boxes or some other sh*t (Cod MW2, Assassin's creed 2 etc.). If game is in window mode or window mode then full screened (like WoW) it records fine (little laggy but it records good). Can you help me.
