  • VINCE CLARKE has arranged and produced the title track for Robert Marlow's forthcoming album 'Inside/Outside' and has also remixed one of the tracks, 'Home'. The album will feature ten tracks and two remixes. MARLOW has also announced a gig at Nottingham's Junktion 7 on November 14th where he will be supported by up and coming synth acts Electraset and One Moment. The show will also be the launch of the much anticipated 'Trans Continental Electronica' compilation of contemporary electro acts

  • Clarke is DA MAN! LOL. Yes, your information is correct.

  • I remember hearing this in Xenon's on 43rd St btwn 6th & 7th Ave.'s in NYC in 1983. Awesome with the lights and the Blackberry Brandy.

  • Is that Vince on vocals for this song???

  • The only "vocal" credits for Vince: "Happy People" and "I Before I Except After C". His mother and various other voices too!

  • Freakin love this jam!@!!!

  • Went to see them on reconnected tour in Newcastle, absolutely awesome, like they have never been away, long live Yazoo

  • The 12" remix version of this song (released as a double A side with "Nobody's Diary")reached #1 on the US dance charts in 1983. It was the third (and final) #1 dance hit fo Yaz, following "Don't Go" and "Situation."

  • Why was this only a B side? :O

  • fabulous!!, broght back a lot of memories!! great voice Alison got!!

  • love it! 'go'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of my favorite Yaz songs. I have nearly front row tickets to see them in Chicago in July. I can't wait. I hope they do this song.

I'm glad the American release of the "You and Me Both" album included this song, which was originally a B-side. On the album, it replaced the much inferior "Happy People," which was included on the U.K. release.

  • easily their best tune....are they any good LIVE?....seems like they are really just a 'studio' band.

  • I'll let you know how they are live...four weeks and counting...

  • got my tickets!!!!!!!

  • Great song! it's such a shame Yazoo were so short lived :( (1982-1983)

  • They have reformed for a tour!!

  • Actually, Blondie's song "Rapture" was ultimately decided(un-officially)as the first rap song. It came out about the same time as the hit "Rappers Delight" Eminem was either still suckling-boobage or, had yet to be thought of........

  • Rapper's Delight was 2 years before Rapture and there were many others as well.

  • "Rapture" is LIGHT YEARS from being the first rap song. What do you think inspired it? Earlier rap songs.

  • Such as?!?!

  • and eminem thought he was the first white rapper! lol

  • 1st ever synth-scratch cant fuck with that.

  • don't mind me honey im just looking smelled your chicken and i watched you cooking

  • We need Yaz again there was never a Duo like them and so much music from just the two of

them. They always cheer me up much more than

any other group from the eighties.

  • pure genious. minimal electro pop. 20 years on - and it still sounds fresh. play this at my funeral would you? it rocks :)

  • lol at preo u right he is dumb as hell probably no life or education

  • i think.. this is a real music

  • this was like a rock band crossed with b-boy break dancing track..this rocked back in the day in baltimore before it went underground!!

  • ...frequency modulation +36, Analog Bass pattern 08...ect Gratulation Vince

  • Hi, HDSmuzik, Are you referring to SYNTH settings for this sound? Did Vince use a PRO ONE? Or the SH101?

  • Ahhh cocaine, sex and new wave.....I miss the 80's

  • probably one of my favorite yaz tracks, up there with goodbye 70's and ode to boy

  • The correct spelling of this amazing lady is ALISON MOYET

This is one of the best Yazoo tracks !

  • I agree with you n4dave!Erasure is fine but who could claim that Andy has so great voice than Alison?

  • taint stupid, it's just for those of us who don't have the cd and just want to hear the music.
