This was going on much before the last lap. Burton had a HELL of better car and should've stuck it in there. What happened was they radio'd to burton and told em' to back off...We needed homo to tie Elliotts record...Bill earned his..These bastards here were caught cheating together..numerous times. It's bullshit, but as for this with Jeff and Jeff, if they told Burton to back off, it was so he didn't ruin it for BOTH Jeffs, and wreck both of them. He backed off because he didn't have position in the turn. It's hard to pass going into 1 and 2 like that. He was trying to get another run and hopefully have something for him in 3 and 4, as he did have the better car towards the end of the race.
