I really wish all the bums would realize how ridiculous the rules are for us soldiers in afghan/iraq. We are advised to not engage an enemy if he is pointing a weapon at us, and even if this enemy is shooting at us, we are not supposed to use weaponry more powerful than he is using on us. U.S. cops can fire upon someone that points a gun at them, and we are not allowed the same thing in a combat zone. War movies/tv shows are so far off, civilians have no idea what the military is really like.
