DR.ROZBRUCH & HIS STAFF ARE THE BEST. THEY'RE EXPERTS AT WHAT THEY DO. MY SON JACOB HAD A DAMAGED GROWTH PLATE,CAUSING HIS LEFT LEG TO GROW FASTER THAN THE RIGHT. what is up with people wanting to be taller so badly?? i dont get it. i mean you are who are if you didnt get to be taller too bad, thats not your thing. why dont you stop crying about it and look for something IS your thing. i used to be this way, at 5'6 i used to feel bad about my height. but that all changed when i stepped foot in a gym. now i dont care how tall i am, because i look 10x better than anyone else out there. done!

This seems much better and safer than taking those damn pills, but i live in NZ, i'm 5'9" and i'm thinking about getting this done but do not have a price estimate and knowledge of any safe doctors to perform the operation. I'm only thinking about getting 2 inches lengthened max to be on the safe side. If anyone can provide me with any information or advice i would greatly appreciate it!

@abbass92 ME 2!! I think that operation can increase your height by 6 additional inches. But the only problem is the cost and I read that it grows 1 mm a day. I'm only concerned about the side effects and risks.

@yungtrill420 I dont think they actually risk the 1mm a day, they round it up to 1mm... but its actually 0.79-0.80mm a day, to allow bones to heal properly and stay strong, if they risk the 1mm a day, it could leave your bones weak and brital...

yesss the cost is very high! in serbia its around $7000 its cheaper around the 3rd world countries, in lebanon I think it's $5000 I read somewhere...

@abbass92 $5000 -7000 seems quite reasonable, but how many of the doctors are qualified? i'd rather pay a bit more and get it carried out safely than risk having it done under less experience.. i was looking at a figure around $17000 in Russia where the op was invented, which seems a lot safer..

40 isn't a terrible age to have a knee replacement compared to what they wanted to do with me. I'm 21 and everyone knows it's really a sad situation if you start with knee replacements at such a young age.

So instead I'm going to have an osteotomy to fix the length disparity and correct the deformity.
