I didnt watch the whole entire thing, but, the Bible is the Bible. Whether it's a KJV, NKJV, NIV, ASV, NLT or whatever. Some things in the KJV are just not as easy to understand considering it's written in old english. I own a KJV Bible and an NIV. Either way, it's Gods word. And if you have an NIV, of course it's going to be different, and easier to understand, but- those footnotes we always see at the bottom of the page, they tell you what that word would be in the KJV.
I do believe that God lead me to the King James Version Bible. We had already the kjvb in our house, I think in the office room on a shelf before I started readying the bible. We also had the niv, but I found that one in the garage, on the floor, bent and dirty.

i read the kjv....took shakesphere in high school so the thees and thous dont bother me. its a personal preference. i never realized how this was such a serious debate.
Yea.... there's really only about 80 words that once you get to know them then there is no problem. At the turn of the century, early 1900's, the KJV was standard reading in third grade. They understood it. After 400 years, it's still the same so it's safe to say where the problem in understanding lies. The English language is deteriorating. It takes more words nowadays to say what the KJV could do in just a couple.

The verse Isaiah 14:12 does say morning star in the original Hebrew text, which is satan the misunderstanding is that Jesus isn't the morning star, but the Bright Morning Star.

What some of you are failing to understand is that the TEXT(scripture) of the KJV IS NOT copyrighted. It can be shared and reprinted with anyone as many times as you please.
However.... this is not so of modern versions. The text itself withing the covers of the book are copyrighted.

Well I hate to say it, but the King James isn't the original translation. And nothing makes it more accurate than the NIV. They both have flaws because neither is in the original language. Do some research and quit being ignorant.
How about the new revised standard version or the NRSV. It was published in the 1950s and is based on William tyndale's translation of the New Testament. First it was the American Standard Version and then it was revised again and called the New Revised Standard Version. Give me a break people. It's just too funny. I'm sticking with the original Bible thank you. The one with all God's Word in it, not just the parts some Parliament members decided I should have.

In the UK, the KJV can only be published by a a very small group of publishers. Any copy published in the UK will have a copyright page. Outside of the UK, the KJV can be published copyright-free.

I didnt watch the whole entire thing, but, the Bible is the Bible. Whether it's a KJV, NKJV, NIV, ASV, NLT or whatever. Some things in the KJV are just not as easy to understand considering it's written in old english. I own a KJV Bible and an NIV. Either way, it's Gods word. And if you have an NIV, of course it's going to be different, and easier to understand, but- those footnotes we always see at the bottom of the page, they tell you what that word would be in the KJV.

I do believe that God lead me to the King James Version Bible. We had already the kjvb in our house, I think in the office room on a shelf before I started readying the bible. We also had the niv, but I found that one in the garage, on the floor, bent and dirty.

Yea.... there's really only about 80 words that once you get to know them then there is no problem. At the turn of the century, early 1900's, the KJV was standard reading in third grade. They understood it. After 400 years, it's still the same so it's safe to say where the problem in understanding lies. The English language is deteriorating. It takes more words nowadays to say what the KJV could do in just a couple.

What some of you are failing to understand is that the TEXT(scripture) of the KJV IS NOT copyrighted. It can be shared and reprinted with anyone as many times as you please.
However.... this is not so of modern versions. The text itself withing the covers of the book are copyrighted.

How about the new revised standard version or the NRSV. It was published in the 1950s and is based on William tyndale's translation of the New Testament. First it was the American Standard Version and then it was revised again and called the New Revised Standard Version. Give me a break people. It's just too funny. Nobody speaks in that old Shakespearean English anymore. And if you look at the original translation half the words weren't even spelled right. It was translated no different. @rock1the1arts100 KJV is the last and the Perfect it's been around for the past 400 years. And the Devil still has the trouble for destroying this Holy Bible. Devil made 100 unholy one's but that's for unsaved lost devil followers.

@HaRdzstylerR That doesn't even make since. You do realize the KJV isn't even the first and original English translation right? There's another one translated about 300 years before the KJ. And then are every person of every language expected to learn English so they can follow Christ? Or are they going to hell for having a false translation?
