Indeed, the Citadel or 78th Highlanders display a much older style of piping and drumming with old rope tension drums that have a much deeper sound. This is very much modern Highland Piping and drumming at its very best from the New World

This isn't the halifax Citadel band because they would not have tenor drummers, this is the halifax 78th highlanders grade 1 band ... I should know I'm hoping to one day be in it and am instructed by 3 of them.
