as a 15 year practitioner and martial arts instructor specializing in weapons all I have to say is... DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO THIS,

I mean yes I have sparred with my friends just for fun, even done it drunk (and have a couple nasty scars to prove it) but we are well trained, and know what we are doing and focusing on it not just swinging our swords around randomly to the music.

try this next time, plan out the fight, choreograph it to the music, it will be safer and look better.

Holy shit this is not safe! Use a bokken please, I was having a swordfight on the field near our park about 3 months ago (no cops around :-] and I have a license and am ALMOST fully trained lol) and had some idiot grab one of my brothers kunai and I ended up with one in my arm. Do you guys know how much that hurts?

Considering the swords they are playing with are purposely made dull for decoration, i think it would hurt more to use a bokken. Oh, and the guy dual wielding the Wakizashi and the Tanto, hes blindley swinging them around, maybe one day he will accidently chop off his head with a real sword.

Practice sparring with softer materials first. You clearly fear swinging the "swords" too swiftly. Also note, in a true fight dual swords is almost useless, unless you REALLY know what you're doing...

Estúpido........Se nota que no saben absolutamente nada de como manejar un katana. Como practicante del arte de la espada japonesa creo que es una falta de respeto hacia este arte. Más estupido aún es el hecho de que están jugando con espadas reales, me sorprende que no se hayan lastimado gravemente o peor. La katana sólo debe ser usada por alguien que de verdad sepa usarla y no por unos ignorantes.
