Actually Grummer does not have a lower voice that is why she is "immune into diving" and that is why Fiordiligi is the most difficult role for the soprano lyrico. It requires an Assoluta range from a classic soprano lyrico.
Only Fleming and Schwarzkopf have met the full vocal requirements of this role. There have been others of course that were dreadful (eg Gruberova) Grummer is at least descent but lets not exaggerate into her being spectacular in this.
@LohengrinT Perhaps my memory fails me, but I always thought Schwarzkopf's low register was quite good and used with intelligence, but wasn't as remarkable and easy as Fleming's. Among the Fiordiligis I have heard, the very best in the low lines of this aria were Lorengar and Fleming, though Schwarzkopf comes among the best. Grümmer sounds very good to me, not just "decent", but not legendary either (though I must say her Donna Anna and Agathe are stunning).
Grummer uses the very old trick of the singers who lack power in the low notes - she only touches them softly for a sec then quickly goes away from them. Exact same thing is done by Gundula Janowitz, Grummer's "twin sister". Fiordiligi needs strong low she does not have it.
Schwarzkopf's low was brilliant. Her entire voice wasnt big -says so herself- but within the volume of her voice her low register was very good and not disproportionate to the rest of the Voice.
Grümmer never forced her beautiful lyric soprano, producing evenness of tone from top to bottom. Others are tempted to dive suddenly into a contralto voce di petto in the lower regions of this aria, but Kammersängerin Grümmer is immune to such vulgarity. Bravissima!
Mozart lui va comme un gant....Très belle voix sans conteste.

Thanks for posting Grummer, maybe the most crystal clear voice I heard in my life.

I like the slow maestoso opening from this "pillar of virtue". Good coloratura and shimmering vibrato as well. Brava!
