Sure buddy, you need 6-7 years combat time, not in a Combat Zone but IN combat, exchanging lead with the other guy, balls big enough to eclipse the sun, a drive that keeps you from sitting on your ass and watching YouTube trying to get insipired. I'm not trying to cut you down, but that'll be a good start. And join the Navy as well, it's a rough walk of life to get in the Navy and walk onto BUD/S training. For the workout portion running, lifting, swimming, drown proofing, hating life.

@ARMA365 /facepalm Recon and MARSOC are completely different units with completely different jobs. Basic Recon Course to become Recon is 3 months compared to BUD/S which is 6 months. That's only selection without advanced training of any sort. Every SOCOM ground unit trains for over 2 years because they go to the same schools. Everybody goes to Jump School, SERE, Dive School, and Mountain Warfare. If you're gonna talk shit at least know what you're talking about.

Sure buddy, you need 6-7 years combat time, not in a Combat Zone but IN combat, exchanging lead with the other guy, balls big enough to eclipse the sun, a drive that keeps you from sitting on your ass and watching YouTube trying to get insipired. I'm not trying to cut you down, but that'll be a good start. And join the Navy as well, it's a rough walk of life to get in the Navy and walk onto BUD/S training. For the workout portion running, lifting, swimming, drown proofing, hating life.

@ARMA365 /facepalm Recon and MARSOC are completely different units with completely different jobs. Basic Recon Course to become Recon is 3 months compared to BUD/S which is 6 months. That's only selection without advanced training of any sort. Every SOCOM ground unit trains for over 2 years because they go to the same schools. Everybody goes to Jump School, SERE, Dive School, and Mountain Warfare. If you're gonna talk shit at least know what you're talking about.
