@24334766 - AT PRO ist very good in all Saltwater conditions if you use correct ground balance - see AT PRO Videos at garrett.com  for right usage. Better than all VLF Detectors for sure are PI in Salt or high mineralized conditions !

You wouldn't have to break your back bending over so much if you get a long-handled water hunting recovery scoop. Makes my back hurt after a while of using a hand scoop to dig up and recover finds---the long handled scoop will make it easier on you--GOOD LUCK FINDING THE GOOD STUFF!

Neer seen a scoop like that---get a long handled scoop and you'd not have to bend over all the time to dig

Yes - all the GARRETT Coils are waterproof - only the Electronic must be sealed for rain or water. If you need complete waterproof Detector choose the new AT PRO from GARRETT - the first waterproof Landdetector - 10 feet fully waterproofed !

@Ethensyardsale yeah, it is waterproof--but control box is not waterproof----the AT PRO has waterproof coil and control box----but you have to buy a set of submersible headphones at an extra cost---
