this is one of the best sounding pgms i wonder which pick ups are in these one it sounds differnt then the 300 and the 301 with the hard tail bridge could be the nut too i didnt think about that but anyone know anything about this guitar and the 301 and his pick ups?

No, it's not alternate picking, he wasn't picking enough times for it to be. It's also too smooth to be alternate picking

That's a string-skipping arpeggio with added tapped notes on the top. He only picks the first note on each new string, the rest is legato/tapping.

its not sweeping because of his right hand motion and its not alternate picking cuz its to smooth :P so its a legato lick :p just a pick with the right hand when there's a transition from string to string and the left hand does the rest :P exept for the tap on the 17th fret :P

actualy it is on the 17th fret...but its on the b string and the second time when he taps with a slid is still on the 17th fret but its on the high E string :P

just in case you wanted to know, that part is a D Major Arpeggio played on the 14th, 12th, and 10th frets of the high E string, 14th, 12th, and 11th of the G string, and the 12th of the D string. The part he taps in the middle of it is on the 17th fret.
